You are right if you are just getting a couple of cartos but if you get a PV or need more things to order it is good.
no, doesn't need one. it's come with replacable atomizer and wicks that screw into the tube.
It's a CE2 tank, not a carto. You can replace the inner CE2 core for about $3. (Yes, it comes with one.)
Yes they come with a atty module with a couple of resistance choices.

gotvapes will be selling the above mentioned tank for less than anyone. ive seen $12 and $7 ...GV will be less than 7 and it works at least as good. its your call.
Thanks Gordon, Robbie and Tex. Realize I worded that badly but you cleared it up for me.
Don't want to be buying too many of the replacement coil modules at $3.50 until I see if it's as good or better than other vaporizers at comparable prices. A 510 Tank Twin Coil Clearomizer 1.5 ohm at $3.95 is darn hard to beat. I'm vaping three of them in rotation and the two originals at three months are still like new. Also have an old Vision Stone on it's second coil in that rotation that is an excellent vape.

I wanted to get the the Excalibur from Vapors Choice along with a eGo Twist at $19 on the same order but I see the Excalibur is out of stock so it's wait and see.

Just got mine! Rinsed it out and have been using it 30-45 mins. So far not a lot of flavor or throat hit, but I'm sure it just needs to get broken in good. Ordered my vivi and an atty today, so should have that in a couple days! : )
This question is totally off topic, but hopefully Tx will indulge me. I think a few of you have used some of the products I'll mention.
I bought some ego mega dual coil cartos with my first order, and got the smok tech ones with my riva kit. Found out I don't like filler cartos, but my real problem with them was.......I have some sort of reaction to the material the whistle tip is made out of.
The tip that came with my bc phoenix's from gotvapes also seem to be made out of what the whistle tips are with the emdcc's, cuz I have the same reaction.
The drip tips that came with the boge cartos that I also bought with my first order from CCV are great. I got two of them free with the 15 pack of cartos.
The tip that came with the 7.00 excalibur from vapors choice seems to be doing ok.
I want to order some extra drip tips at some point, but I don't know what the various materials are. I keep seeing Delrin. What is that? Is that like the emdcc's whistle tip material? Or is that like the harder plastic that comes with the boge 15 cartos from CCV, or should I write CCV and ask them?

I did ditched the cheap rubber from the stuff I get,i dont trust that stuff.

Thanks. Hard to tell from a photo if something is rubbery or hard plastic. The hard plastic seems to be fine. Those kinda rubbery ones made my lips swell up a bit and be rather tender. I usually don't react to things, but that was pretty bad.
Wow!! This thing broke in nice! After nearly 5 weeks of vaping.......I now know what my juice is supposed to taste like! Monday I couldn't get a decent throat hit on stardust or phx's to save me, but once this thing got going, I have Th all over the place. Every so often there is a weak hit, but very few dry hits. A little bit of juice or condensation coming up into the well, but not too bad.
Decided to change my juice tonite. Thanks Orachel for posting about it all pouring out when you took the bottom off, or I probably would have done that. Just took the top off, put my finger over it while I undid the bottom, and poured my juice into a holder bottle. This cleaned up so nice and easy. Just ran it under water, patted the wick dry, put it back together and filled it back up. Didn't take long to rewick it at all. Only draw back so far is having to hold it more upright when it gets below the window, or fill it back up.

These things rock! I just got two of them in and put some 16mg peanut butter banana in one and 18mg tropical ice in another and they wicked right away. I'm impressed. I filled them up just past the top of the window part. There's a nice, easy draw to it, too. Full vapor and great flavor coming through.
I was a little concerned about the size, being they hold 6ml of liquid, but they look nice. The design is nice and it looks good on my Ego Twist 1000mah. Will post pics soon.....

I inquired at Vapors Choice about when they would have a new stock of "510 EGO Super Excalibur 6ml Tank and got this reply.

NICE!!! Love the colored tanks!!! So looking forward to those! And great to hear they wick well with the peanut butter banana. Gonna order a big honkin bottle (or two) of that, and some more E2s when they're back in stock.
BTW, anyone with a chrome or stainless lava tube trying to decide between E2 and Vivi Nova... Vivi Nova will NOT vape on the chrome/stainless tube for some unknown reason. WILL work if you add a 3.5ml tank cone, though. We're trying to figure out why, but in the meantime.. if you've got an all metal tube with ego connection, you need the 3.5ml adapter to use Nova, but NO adapter to use the E2.

Yay! But how much do you want to bet they will be more than $7? I really think someone screwed up in pricing them!
I see VC's standard excalibur is the same as DV's Revive-E1 which also works good and holds 2 ml.
