well that was quick. he sold out of them already. maybe he'll make a shiny version in the coming batches. i know there are satin mods out there, but in general i couldnt imagine them being all that prevalent. i like this atty but i want a shiny one.

The sandblasted finish would probably look good on an Ice Matte Roller or Dingo. Personally, I prefer satin finish.

funny it sold out with specs only being announced today:
"The Spec's are
Dia- 22.5mm
Wick Hole- 2.5mm
Air hole- 1.2mm"
what does it say about the rba segment?

i like the satin finish too. i dont prefer it over chrome or SS, but i do envy its lack of fingerprint magnetism. maybe if there were more mods with a satin finish, id get more into it. i just dont see em all that much.

That's the first thing that came to mind when I saw these. I have been looking for an atty with a similar finish as my ice matte roller. As much as I like my roller, it sucked nothing matched it. I'm looking forward to this new device. They look like their built solid and priced great, only thing that worries me is the center post. I hope it's more like the DID than the AGA-T.

The only three things that would put me off are...

The wick hole at 2.5mm is a little small, I prefer something in the 3.0mm range.
Only one wick hole with no option to "U" wick.
I Hav`nt seen it in the UK yet and dread the price over here :(

Love the finish :) If ever any of my Vamo`s need a strip and rebuild they are going satin as well :D

The RichMan is indeed coming from the same factory as the AGA line of RBA's, sharing the same packaging and spare parts bag (just RichMan branded)..as well as a similar design, but that is where the similarities end. The RichMan is much higher grade steel, and is made with much higher quality components. Even the post insulators are of better design and quality.

This is standard in a lot of manufacturing industries, lets say for example pens or my favorite other hobby, watches. The factory has a design, but for a price and minimum order, will produce you a run of the item built to your specifications, all for a price.

Richard made all the right changes to the AGA design. These RBA's are fantastic. The heft of them is amazing. Really guys, if you like Gennies, get at least one of these. They are well worth it.

i have one, i think the build quality is fantastic. and little things like threading and seals are very well machined and thought out. he could easily get 2 or 3 times what hes charging and most would never notice the difference.

only one glaring flaw has made me regret the purchase. the airhole is below the coil area. and any lower it would be below the deck. i will try to fill it and drill my own but this kind of "miss" on the details is why i will always recommend top shelf products.
