...just a quick comment about how things should be. Last summer I ordered a few things from a place called Trueman. One of the batteries didn't work. They said that they would either put a battery in my next order or ship one out immediately. I didn't need to order anything else right then, but I told them to ship the battery the cheap way. Not. I received a new battery in less than a week from China, and they never mentioned returning the bad one. That's how it should be. (I have no affiliation with them whatsoever. In fact, that was my only order from them, simply because I didn't need anything else from them.)

I believe all states have a similar consumer protection law as California's "Song-Beverly Consumer Warranty Act".

"...The Act also provides provisions detailing the existence and duration of implied warranties, that is, non written warranties, accompanying the sale of new and used consumer goods, including an implied warranty that a product meets its contract description and is fit for the ordinary purposes for which such goods are used, and if a seller has reason to know any particular purpose for which the consumer goods are required that the buyer is relying on the skill and judgment of the seller to select and furnish suitable goods, then there is an implied warranty that the goods shall be fit for such purpose. Any new or used consumer good covered by a written warranty, is also covered by the implied warranties. If no written warranty is given, the implied warranties still apply unless "AS-IS" provisions are strictly complied with...."

In other words, if you buy an atty and it doesn't work it's not an atty... it's a paperweight!

TW sucks. Period.
They don't care about customers. They are on the fast way to make money..so they think. Dud batteries and atties. Bottles of juice dripping. I had enough of them immediately.
I don't care if they choke on the money....they are not worth it. I am interested in those new atties...received their newsletter inviting me to pre order. NO..i won't! I'd rather wait and even pay twice as much to an honest vendor. R.I.P. TW.

The only vendor i can think worse of is Nucig (commercial crap). Did not expect that same treatment from TW. All other from UK are really great, be it LF or E-cigs.co.uk or lovely Lisa from cloud9vaping.

Well... I can only say. Damn!
I placed an order Fri night for 39.96 (tornado batt, cone and charger adapter).
It is marked as paid...
In the page of the battery it clearly states "all our products come with a 28-Day Guarantee"

Let's see...
yeah, you're fine. it's the 5 packs that are a crapshoot. pay attention!! :p

As soon as I saw the 'no warranty' disclaimer, my spidey senses started tingling and I knew there was something just not right about it. They could easily be sending people dead products straight from the factory, even though they ought to be tested before even being shipped from the manufacturer. Something just doesn't smell right, if you get what I'm saying.

I'm glad to see I'm not the only one that uses this phrase hahahaha.

I haven't had any bad experiences with them yet thankfully. Sorry to hear about what happened with your batts. I don't think it should make a difference whether they send you 1 battery or 500... as paying customers we should be entitled to products that are fully tested to be in proper working condition before these companies send them out to us. Pretty lame policy, Totally Wicked. I think I'll be buying eGo batts and atty's from Janty from now on. Mark it up as one more loyal customer lost...

That's the thought I had after reading this thread (and I had been on the verge of getting a Tornado battery 5-pack today).

But Janty USA is out of the 5-pack and it seems like they have been every time I've checked in the last two months. Does anyone know of any other US suppliers for the eGo?

How are these guys still a vendor here? I've only been here a short while and have seen a ton of complaints against them. Does ECF not care that this company is ripping people off?

Btw, for those of you that are having problems with TW, you can contact the Attorney General in both your state and the state TW is in which is Florida. They usually take a good look at every complaint they get. Here's the website for the Florida AG's office:

TW gets the atomizers it sells from SLB I'm pretty sure of it and each atomizer cost them $2.65 or less , and SLB offers replacement warranty on the atomizers they sell so TW is royally screwing over people !!!
They don't look like SLB atomizers... I was under the impression they were made by Joye.

It's one thing to say "No warranty" and another to say "We can send you whatever we like, we got your money and the rest is your problem!". I can live with a DOA-only warranty of 24 hours, but no insurance against DOA is simply not acceptable.

Agreed! "No Warranty" is completely different from "might or might not work out of the box".

The foreign transaction fee you have to, AFAIK, thank Paypal for - Paypal USA refuses anything that might have to do with vaping, thanks to ASH USA. Hence TW re-routes Paypal via England. But of course TW should tell people that, so they can choose a different payment method if they want.

Ahhh, that would explain it. And yes, they should flag it if you choose PayPal as the payment method. TW is certainly aware of it. Something like "Note: We accept PayPal as a payment method but you will incur a foreign transaction fee of xxx (or x%)".
