Hi guys i see you are all complaining but i can not understand why all you guys go under the big names and not on the smaller ones who realy respect you.

I much prefer buying from smaller companies but the problem has been stock. Most can't afford to keep a large inventory and are often "out of stock".

You're correct about "respect" and I try to spend my money where I feel I will be respected. Unfortunately it's difficult for new members to know who these vendors are until they have some experience. We're lucky to have such a great forum here at ECF!

I almost made the same mistake buying the Tornado batts in the 5 pack, but after reading similar complaints on the ECF regarding batt problems in the 5 pack I opted to order singles (2). For some reason I don't think anyone has had an issue with singles. Makes no sense to me since I assume they just break out singles from 5 packs.

But I might consider just going to Janty when these die. If a vendor doesn't stand behind the product they sell then I don't need the chance of aggravation.

I thought the purpose for good business practice and customer service was to attract customers for life. Too many other small vendors out there with really spot on customer service (Halo, TV, Ms. T's, Trog, e-liquid Planet, Vapor4Life... to name a few) who know how to keep a customer. Go to them.

The 5-pack parts will be permanently marked so the vendor can tell if they are from Multi-Packs: "MP"

If you buy singles and they are marked "MP", you'd better test the heck out of them...

Thanks for saving me guys... I wondered why a company that is usually more expensive on every other item is suddenly the cheapest place to go for Mega attys... I saw the "No Warranty" as well and decided to pay a little more for individual attys from another supplier.

Rather than saying "no warranty", why don't they just come clean and say "1 out of 5 of these atomizers will probably be DOA, but we won't replace them"? What's the point in hiding the truth? I no longer shop at the three companies that provided me with DOA components in Multi-Packs (1 per 5-pack, like clockwork) and refuse to replace them (per the disclaimers on their sites).

The only company I've bought from that guarantees their multi-packs is Liberty Flights. The text on their atomizers says, "Liberty Flights can only guarantee atomizers for a 14 day period." That's good enough for me. I have placed numerous orders with them without complaint.

That makes sense. What they're saying is "these are reduced price and do not carry a warranty but we WILL send you a WORKING product". Haha, I wonder if it would effect their sales at all if TW came out and said "Some or all of these may not work but they're reduced price, good luck"? I mean, people still buy lottery tickets right?

The first time i opened a still sealed packaged atty from TW and it was dead to start with was the last time I bought any TW product. I refuse to buy from people or companies with no customer service or at least decent ethics.
Only by not putting up with the guff will people send them a message they will get, (no ethics-no business)

CrazyTerrie11 is right, TW says they wont give a warranty for the batts....
"We normally offer a 28 day warranty on the Battery unit, on our Multi-Packs each E-NI Battery works out at less than $16. Therefore we offer no warranty on this item. The Multi Pack Electronic Nicotine Inhalator Batteries however are exactly the same as the single units we sell. "
However, in their own companys terms of use they state

The Buyer shall inspect the Goods immediately upon receipt and shall notify the Seller within 7 working days of delivery confirming in writing if the Goods are damaged or do not comply with any of the Contract. If the Buyer fails to do so the Buyer shall be deemed to have accepted the Goods.

They dont say excluding batts there....so i would say that if they work when you get them, but become defective after too short of a time, then yes you would not be able to have an argument.....HOWEVER, they arrived DOA or defective.....so i would fight to get my money back.....stupid TW....they are too expensive anyway....

Did you order from the UK site by accident? They may have routed the order to FLA. to ship to you.

Did you try to charge the batteries first?

On 4/2 I got two Tornado batts/cone, mega atties/carts, mega charger. The first thing I did was to put the batts on the charger even though they had some charge in them. The one you got with the sticky button/on off issue is probably a true defect though. It still sucks to get less than absolute satisfaction.

Nope...ordered from Florida, receipt from Florida and shipped from Florida.

It's one thing to say "No warranty" and another to say "We can send you whatever we like, we got your money and the rest is your problem!". I can live with a DOA-only warranty of 24 hours, but no insurance against DOA is simply not acceptable.

The foreign transaction fee you have to, AFAIK, thank Paypal for - Paypal USA refuses anything that might have to do with vaping, thanks to ASH USA. Hence TW re-routes Paypal via England. But of course TW should tell people that, so they can choose a different payment method if they want.

EXACTLY MY POINT...:p

I have never had a problem with TW or my tornado but I find the no return on DOA completely unacceptable and will not order 5 packs from them until it changes.
That is now conveniently stated on the TW site...AFTER all this started with my order. And the still wont replace my bad batts...go figure
