Thank you Super X! I knew that I wanted a Reo Mini 2.0 but was not sure I could handle the re-wicking of an rba. After reading your tutorial, I really think I can! (and Robert will be glad that I got these answers here, rather than more emails).:). It sounds like I need to get a meter (hoping that's the right language). Are they easy to find? Still a bit fuzzy on ohms. Anyone have a quick ohms lesson for me in relation to a Mini Reo and the RM2. Thank you in advance....

Rob, (we jokingly called my younger brother Rob "Robinowitz"),

Glad you found it easy :)
It is good to check ohms first, but not entirely necessary with some sound building principals. If you follow that tutorial to the letter you will be fine while you wait for your meter. The ones for attys seem to be hard to come by these days.

Pay particular attention to the steps about mounting your coil to avoid any shorts.

Ask here or PM me if you would like any more help - I'd be glad to assist your plight to vape like a rock super star. :)

Last question Super X (at least for tonight). I'm placing my order right now with Reo. I want to try the organic cotton, as well as the Silica. Looks like Robert is sold out of the 2.5. Is the 3.0 okay or should I hold out for the 2.5? (note to self: must learn more). And thank you for the link.

I have never used silica my man. I'm sorry. But feel free to ask all the questions you want. I would order at least 1 extra spring for your REO too. You may never need it (I haven't) but if you do, you'll be glad you have it !

Just wanted to drop another HUGE Thank You to super_x_drifter for taking the time not only to make this thread, but to keep it updated as he experiments further.

Got my RM2 today, and did your microcoil method, and the results were better than expected. Came in at 2.1 ohms, and I used the cotton wick (organic cotton balls). Great flavor, fantastic vapor!

Again, thank you sir!

I have recently wondered the same. I looked her up and see that she has fairly recent posts in other forums where she continues to help others and share her knowledge :)

???Are we talking about the same person? I'm showing last activity of JuiceJunkie as 1/23/2013. Hmmm.

Your lil tips have helped me with my arthris making coils and magnified lighted headgear helped with my old eyes to see better. Still I had trouble threading the last wire thru the post hole of a install till it dawned on me if I left the lead wire real long I could do one at a time then the 2nd one would be just as easy then I just pulled till the coil was straight and tightened. I know what your thinking....

I received my VV Grand today. Also a new RM2 with some 28g wire. It it safe to run a .7 coil on a mini 2.0? I didn't realize that I would need more coils for the 28g wire.

If not I'll pull it. But, it hits awesome. LOL.

It's fine to have it that low. In fact, it's probably pretty awesome....am I right? Enjoy!!
