I actually find myself using the 401 more often. I'll be curious to get your impression, RK45. Where did you order from? Mine was from absolutelyecigs and I wonder if there are any differences in draw between different manufacturers atomizers and cartridges (if indeed there is more than one manufacturer...)

This was my first e-cig from a Smoking Everywhere booth. Way overpriced but that's my fault. I discovered this forum shortly after buying it and couldn't believe the amount of negative comments about the Pee Wee. I decided to buy a 901 at Totally Wicked thinking that I could get a better experience.

I anxiously anticipated the 901 and when I got it, I was disappointed. The biggest problem I had with it is that leaked TOO much. I hate the taste of raw liquid and it got me close to puking at some point. Also because of the leaking, I believe I'm using TWICE the amount of juice as compared to my Pee Wee to get the same satisfaction.

Thinking it must be an atomizer issue I ordered several more plus another battery just in case from another vendor. When I received the parts, I had the same experience.

I do not get the leaking issue as much with the Pee Wee. The only time the thing leaks is because I've overfilled it or probably sucked on it too hard. I even ordered another kit from Totally Wicked (the black one) thinking that I must have an exceptionally super Pee Wee that out-performs any other Pee Wee, but I got the same quality experience from the newer one.

I still like the 901. I've learned to get the most out of it and maybe I'll like it even more as I continue to use it. I do get bigger hits at its good moments and it does taste sweeter than the Pee Wee but the leaking thing is a killjoy.

I ordered the Titan yesterday (I love e-cigs better than the real thing now). Maybe I'll like it better than the Pee Wee or maybe not. But for now, my Pee Wee and me are happy.

It's either you refill with a little too much juice or when you take drags, you're a vacum cleaner :D

Take slow drags. Better yet, get rid of the carts and keep the mouth piece and drip 2-3 drops on the atomizer. You will see a difference.

Yeah, I drag pretty much like a Hoover but that's how I smoke. I guess the different models give different results to each individual depending on how they smoke. This is probably why I like the Pee Wee better.

My 901 is pretty much a dripping device which I use at home. I still take the Pee Wee everywhere.

I started with the NCIG pen style. I used to smoke 2 to 3 packs a day. When I started vaping with the NCIG, I was using about 1 to 2 cartridges a day and 1 to 2 battery charges a day while cutting my cigarette usage to below 10 cigs a day. I increased my vaping and decreased my analogs and killed a vaporizer in about 10 days. NJoy was polite and happy to make the warranty replacement over the phone.

In the meantime, I got the NPRO (RN 4081). In some ways I like it better. I get more flavor from the vapor, although its a little more difficult to produce the same about of vapor. The battery will last about 3 hours and I use a combination of dripping, topping-off, and at least once a day use a hollow cartridge until there is no vapor.

I also tried a modification to the mouthpeice. The cap with the small hole was removed and the inner hole widened to give a lighter drag with more vapor.

I still use both. Sometimes I use one with nicotine and one without. I still like both but I want to find one that I like better (although I don't know if I will like it).

This is my first e cig and I love it. I have been off cigarettes for over a month now. However I have nothing to compare it to. I don't like the battery life or the cartridge size either. If I had more money I would check out another product to compare it to.

Does anyone know where I can buy spare atomizers for this? I know that puresmoker and njoy are out. I really need a spare since my last one just died on me.

Yeah I actually get a little more flavor with my Npro than my Joye510 but the 510 gives me tons more vapor.
But the 510 is alot more convienent to use and more consistant each drag.

Hi,

I also bought my M401 from Absolutelye-cigs. Still waiting, too. I also mouth hit and will try the lung hit to see if it makes a difference for me. :) I'll let you know!
Good question about carts and atomizers. I think that if you find the original instead of the generics you probably get a better product. Not sure really, though.

Hi WillO,

If you are talking about the Pee Wee (RN4081) then I have always had good luck with Totally Wicked's U.S. site. Their "SUPER" mini carts and atomizers have worked with my Pee Wee just fine (that sentence sounds kind of lewd). But anyway, you might give them a try. :)

If you're speaking about the M401 I don't know anywhere but Absolutlye-cigs. :( Good luck! :D

I started using Njoy Npro, but it wasn't really working for me. Too much drag for little vapor. It was Not-Njoyable.

Anyway, I read from the forum they have a money back guarantee (30 days). Apparently NOT! They DO NOT HAVE A MONEY BACK GUARANTEE!!! you are basically stuck with them. They call the title of their page on warranty as return policy, see for yourself on their website. They don't have a refund policy at all. They don't say they DONT have one in their website. they just "omitted" it.

They used to have it back in 2008. But no more.
Guess they had too many people returning stuff.

Hi cyberwolf,

You said that you would be curious to get my impression of the M401 from Absolutlyecigs, well, I just received my package today (2 weeks delivery time!) and was really excited to try it out. I opened the package and all it contained was 4 Chinese DVD's!?!?! I couldn't even tell what the movies were, not being able to read Chinese :(.

Anyway, you asked! And Absolutelyecigs isn't currently my favorite supplier as they have a lot of my money and I have 4 worthless DVD's and no response from them yet:rolleyes:.

Since I'm new to all this, I have the Npro. Have to say that I almost threw it out using the carts that came with it. Terrible. I ordered some 36mg from TW but after reading more posts, I decided to cut it with VG. I did about 50/50 but I think I also cut the taste. Was too chicken to try the TW straight up. I think the Npro is not too bad but I have no comparison. Looking to try other juices with less nicotine. The reviews I read are very helpful to those of us just starting. Thank you all.

I got my Npro from pilot and it was my first device because I didn't want to wait. I didn't love it. I had to exchange two atomizers and found that out of my three kits, two atomizers made hissing noises (not heating the liquid, either-- it was as if too much air was entering). After he sent replacement atomizers, this was no longer an issue. Also, once I attached them to the 4081 passthrough, it was like a different device. It was excellent with very strong hits. I still don't use it and I might wind up selling the kits (really barely used them at all), but all in all it's a nice e-cig. I'm not crazy about it, but it does work well.

Honestly, I think what bothers me the most about it and the reason I don't use it is because I think the cartridges are too big to take drags off comfortably. If there's nothing to compare it too, then it's fine. But I got my next ecig, the 901, the day after I got my 4081. And, since then, I have many other ones. So, really, I just find the cartridges much less comfortable. . . even if they're the same size as a real cigarette, they're hard, so they are hard to draw off for me. . . if they had a flatter cartridge like the 901, I'd probably really love it.

Igetcha, it was your review that pushed me to the Npro, you were happy with it so I figured I would be too. I have been happy with the unit all in all- some odd battery behavior (getting stuck on, etc) but nothing that can't be worked around. All in all the vapor production has been excellent with amazing throat hit. Thank you! :)

I ordered some extra atomizers elsewhere (about $6.00 ea) and will probably stock up on a few extra batteries as well. I also decided to get a generic pen style as well as a Dura-C to test with.

Where did you find the atomizers for $6.00? That's a GREAT price!

rickbar,

I started out with the TW 36 mg and loved it because it was strong enough to enable me to stop analogs immediately. I vaped it full strength constantly for a few days. Admittedly, I did occassionally get a head buzz like when you first started smoking analogs but nothing unpleasant.
I still use it but my current favorite is the 24 or 26 mg "Tennessee Cured" from Johnson Creek. Their regular "Tobacco" is very good, too. But, I'm hooked on the "Tennessee Cured". Very high-quality juice and excellent packaging. I would recommend Johnson Creek to anyone.
