Try adding a tiny o-ring to the screw. The tiny screwdriver that came with the R91 has two o-rings that will fit. Also a small strip of teflon tape or dental floss just under the head of the screw would work.

I've tried an extra o-ring, still leaks. Teflon tape is my next recourse. My gripe is that I shouldn't have to, and why has no one else reported juice leaking from their 510? Maybe they have. I'm realizing KEBO has a lot of problems and they're not putting the quality into their product. If you remember some of the deals on these russians when they were released, it's also clear to see that they're marking these things up quite a bit. If you're not selling them at MSRP, KEBO will refuse to sell them to you.

I'm certainly done with KEBO. I'd move on to the kayfun but I have almost 200 bucks invested in these crappy russian 91's.

The only leaking I have had is from the air intake, after I draw too hard. I guess I flood the chamber when I hit it like a Shop Vac. Lol

I am sorry to hear you are having a new and different problem.

That shouldn't happen with the air flow fully open, have you tried that?

I have the airflow opened all the way. My leaking has only happened a couple times. Each time was when I grabbed it without looking and hit it like I do my cloud chasing setup. I should not leave them standing next to each other. Like i said, only when I hit it like a Shop Vac.

So is Kebo officially in the doghouse? I'm really disappointed reading through this thread and now wondering if I'll go for the black or gold versions coming out. I do not understand why they can't simply buy a quantity of the V1 center pin screws and ship to vendors to make customers happy. They sure seem to be losing the goodwill game, but I'll bet they really don't care. They probably figure customers will come back for more at some point and it's not worth the expenditure for the screws. Hope I'm wrong.

Hi Horton, the Black Russian and the coming soon Gold will have the V1 pin. They will not have the V2 spring pin. UCT is working on new pin designs for a future pin design.

Well don't I feel stupid!! I got my v1 pin from Vapor DNA earlier in the week but I'll be damned if I can install it. The problem is that once I thread the center pin through the block the head is too big to use the spanner tool to tighten the block again. I am sure I am missing something simple. Can someone lend a hand?

The spanner is only for the v2 pin. If they sent you the pin for the v1, it should actually be 2 pins. In the pic below, the R91 on the left is the v1. Are these the pins you received?

Hi Carrie, UCT had to manufacture the V1 pins. This took a week. They starting shipping pins to vendors including VaporDNA and RussianRBA this week. It takes 5 days DHL from china including customs. VaporDNA will have them soon for you.

They are not shipping pins to all vendors. It seems that they will only ship replacement pins if the vendor makes another purchase. Shame on them.

Use a flat head screw driver to tighten down the main center pin and screw it into the top deck. Then screw in the adjustable secondary pin and adjust as needed make sure your deck doesn't twist in the process. Also, make sure you have installed the center pin insulator. You can use the same one that came with the V2 center pin.

Well the forum helped me again!! I didn't realize the center pin for the version 1 came in 2 pieces. Screwed them apart and put in the new pin then attached the smaller screw that includes the 510 connection and all is well. Ohms are stable on both my ohm meter and on my device. Thanks again and a kudos to Vapor DNA who took a v1 pin out of their stock and shipped it in one day!!

I was on the VaporDNA site last night and they were showing out of stock for the V1 center pin. Logged on this afternoon and it was in stock and I bought one. Once it arrives I will install it and see if it cures the v2 spring loaded pin problem. I hope so.

VAPORDNA has the Russian 91% V1 two piece center pin in stock for $5 as of 4pm today.

Thanks for the 'heads up' on these. Order placed for a couple. My Russian's will be happy again.
