Thats not been fully confirmed to my knowledge. I think that people should be cautious. Keep in mind that I own the dna version of this mod and cannot say I fully trust it. There is a lot of talk about Wismec using thin wiring. This was posted by somebody I know who builds and works on mods and has seen the inside of both these devices first hand. I already had to move the ribbon on my dna version to prevent the mod from failure. Its a flaw in every one of them and Wismec is doing very little to help people.

I was met with the exact same hostility over pictures of the 50w iStick.
Most aren't having any problems...some folks just feel the need to post a pic of one that melted down due to user error. At least that's what the general concensus seems to think. Looking at the pics, I tend to agree.

This is why you are met with resistance man:
You said, two weeks ago that you've heard good things and that you would probably get one here:
Reuleaux RX200

You even say a week ago that people don't know what happened with the RX and that it could've been a battery issue here:
OVER PRICE DEVICES!!!

Then you comment about cheap devices and dissing d2's praising sx's and blah blah blah in that same thread. YET, a week prior you say you would never buy another sx mini again here:
Sale on Mini M

One more and then maybe you'll understand?
You spout about people buying clones, killing innovation, blah blah blah here:
In your own opinion rda

Oh wait though. What about the temple rda you were talking about being an authentic and people should stick to authentic? Today you say it's a clone here:
Picture of Your Setup Part 2!

Just stop already.
Who cares how others are vaping?

Thread Officially DERAILED

Come on guys, Chill a little

Mass manufactured products have failure rates. Never been different. Never will be.
People add to the confusion by misrepresenting Human error as Product failure. That will never change.

Life happens.

Umm I bought a clone with every intention of buying the Aunthetic. As of today, its been replaced by the authentic.

Speaking of clones, just today a member of my local vape group received a clone of the Crown tank from a B&M who thought it was authentic. They have this in all 70 of their stores from the same distributor. Not only was it made much cheaper than the Authentic but the authenticity code was used like 20 times. Now sure they will pull it when the issue gets to their office but how many customers paid good money for this already and have no idea they got a clone? Should we really embrace that market for anything other than a try before you buy option?

As for the D2? Yes. Its very overrated. I happen to own one and wouldn't recommend it to anyone.

And yes I said it could have been a battery issue with that RX but there is a lot of conflicting information which everybody is just blindly writing off as user error without all the facts. All I wanted people to do was be cautious. Triple battery series mods are a very new thing and so is balanced charging. With the reports of thin wiring and married batteries not discharging the same, it could be a cause for concern. Especially if you are using onboard charging and not rotating your batteries with every charge.

Accuracy wise, Joyetech has stepped up their game.

But i still think wiring and quality control is questionable. Especially after having to service my Reuleaux DNA by myself because Wismec is ignoring the issue unless your mod actually breaks before the 90 day warranty is up. Anybody with the DNA version needs to perform this and give up their limited warranty.

There was absolutely nothing wrong going on in this thread until one of the usual trash talkers decided to comment. All we were doing was talking about the possible concern with the RX200.

Yep, and now you are going into Full Thread trash mode. Shame!

I wish to make one simple observation. I am not one of your usual suspects, however like every Mod owner on this Forum, I also have my opinion of equipment.
As far as the D2 goes - Personal opinion. I would recommend it without reservation<so long as the person understood the Mods Functions.>
pssst..........D2 never advertised Step Down in power mode

I also have experience with some 50 other mads I can assist people with when necessary.

Belittling anything YOU do not like seems simply childish.

I'm not the one who fired the shots but I am certainly going to respond. Do you realize that what just happened here is why so many people wont come to ECF? They arent on the VU rival board either. People talk about their bad ECF experiences everywhere including the CASAA Facebook group. I also never have a problem in any other community I belong to. And I belong to over 20 of them. Its only ECF.

I also don't see how speaking cons about any piece of consumer electronics is belittling. Companies are just rushing device after device onto the market to try and make the possible grandfather date. Most of them don't even output the wattage that's claimed on the box. Are these people shareholders or something? I just don't like seeing potential buyers getting ripped off. I mean they are already releasing an IPV D3 for Christs sake. With the exception of some of the smaller builders, these mod companies are not our friends.

I assume the d3 was launched due to some customers wanting step down. Its a response to what customers are asking for. One thing I'll never criticize the Chinese gear for is slow response to customer input. They listen and input it very quickly.

If I decide the wiring isn't up to par on my rx200, I'll rewire it. Its still a cool mod for the price. I doubt we will ever know what happened with the one that exploded because we don't have the facts. Unless there are more incidents and we learn what the issue is.

I don't expect cheap devices to be perfectly accurate like I do my high priced ones. Generally I choose them for form factor and reputation, and adjust to taste. They also tend to be more accurate in the ranges I use them in for some reason. I'm neither a low nor high power vaper.

You fired the first shot by posting that pic & scaring the poop out of me about my recent purchase! If your experience on the ECF is so bad why do you stay? Is it to ruin everybody else's experience? Please don't hinder my research about my mod! Please leave this thread if you can't be helpful!:mad::mad::mad::censored::danger:
So to everybody else is there really a big problem here?

Here is where you will find the most help. This group has over 2000 members and is specifically for the Reuleaux devices.

And I am sorry this turned into an argument.

See the thing that has always amazed me is that people will spend so much time & energy bashing things! See what that means is that we OWN you! We've gotten under your skin! We're in your thoughts even when you're not here! Why would you do that? do you enjoy the stress & anger? I know I don't!
