Should never buy batteries from ebay, no way of knowing what you are getting
I can't speak for any other sellers on ebay, but there is one i have dealt with for over a year now that is very good, the user name is genuine cells. He has great prices, and i haven't had any issues at all out of close to 30 batteries that i've bought from him.

Ebay is a Site, not a business. Those without a Clue should avoid Ebay, Amazon and Most of the Internet.:sneaky:

There are Both Good and Bad Businesses on Ebay, Amazon and the Internet in general.

Thank you for the warning, but I have personally trusted this Vendor for several years and as an Ex-seller I take insult from your generalization.:grr:

Sure there are good sellers but I still think as a general rule stick with sites that many people can vouch for, and beginners should avoid amazon and ebay.

I have bought all my batteries from one eBay supplier and have never had issues, they are cheaper as its not a retail shop and don't have to pay some of the bill a shop would

Up until now never one battery issue but I religiously buy from one seller

That's how i do,the one i buy from only deals in batteries, and the prices are good enough that i don't need to shop around anywhere else.He sells alot of different ones all at good prices, but i get the Samsung 25r and get them for $10.98 a set or $19.98 for 4 with a case and free shipping,i've bought 14 sets from him and never an issue,so i've stuck with who i trust.
I know there are alot of fake batteries both on ebay and at some other sites, but i trust the seller i use,so no need for me to look elsewhere.

I heard the pic was a total hoax. Take a mod and put a blow torch on it for a few seconds then post it on reddit. All you need to do to create frenzy.
I heard that the story of it being a hoax was a total hoax. All you have to do is post it on reddit and it creates a frenzy. I mean, if it's on the interwebz it mist be true, right??

that last sentence can apply to what both of you said
It very well could apply. We have the pic and a story about what supposedly happened, but hard facts are lacking and confirmation of how this happened is lacking. Tons and tons of speculation, rumor and myth is all that's available. For all we know, this could be some form of industrial sabotage trying to make Wismec look bad for "defective product". For sure, I don't know. Sometimes though, absurdity can be fun to watch. There are tons of Youtube channels dedicated to absurdity writ large.

In any case.... I have noticed that my Uwell Crown gets very hot when the batteries of my RX200 are below 30% or so.

running at 0.3ohm and 70-80w.

Anyone else noticing that their atty gets damned hot on top of this mod? The Crown gets hot on my Snow Wolf, but quite a bit hotter on the RX200. The mod isn't very hot and the batteries aren't heating up.

Umm I bought a clone with every intention of buying the Aunthetic. As of today, its been replaced by the authentic.

Speaking of clones, just today a member of my local vape group received a clone of the Crown tank from a B&M who thought it was authentic. They have this in all 70 of their stores from the same distributor. Not only was it made much cheaper than the Authentic but the authenticity code was used like 20 times. Now sure they will pull it when the issue gets to their office but how many customers paid good money for this already and have no idea they got a clone? Should we really embrace that market for anything other than a try before you buy option?

As for the D2? Yes. Its very overrated. I happen to own one and wouldn't recommend it to anyone.

And yes I said it could have been a battery issue with that RX but there is a lot of conflicting information which everybody is just blindly writing off as user error without all the facts. All I wanted people to do was be cautious. Triple battery series mods are a very new thing and so is balanced charging. With the reports of thin wiring and married batteries not discharging the same, it could be a cause for concern. Especially if you are using onboard charging and not rotating your batteries with every charge.

Accuracy wise, Joyetech has stepped up their game.

But i still think wiring and quality control is questionable. Especially after having to service my Reuleaux DNA by myself because Wismec is ignoring the issue unless your mod actually breaks before the 90 day warranty is up. Anybody with the DNA version needs to perform this and give up their limited warranty.

There was absolutely nothing wrong going on in this thread until one of the usual trash talkers decided to comment. All we were doing was talking about the possible concern with the RX200.

Yea, its in the comments, but we went back the next day and told the guy that he sold us a clone and his response was "well yea its a clone look at the price," but yet when my buddy was about to buy it, I specifically asked him if it was authentic and he lied straight to my face and said "yea, of course." even though i said that's weird that they have authentics for 24.99.

Anyways, the guy returned it for us without question, probably because he knew he was in the wrong. We only ran one tank threw it and the paint had already flaked off into the juice. I was really .......
