One question for you experienced users. I do not yet have a VV mod. For the time being I plan to use my DC on one of my Reo Grands. The Grand runs at anywhere between 3.8 to 4.1 volts. I use 1.5 and 1.8 ohm attys this way and am wondering if this is the correct voltage range for the DC with a 4/5 coil.

On a scale of 1-10 how would you rate it and please be honest a low number will not hurt my feelings lol.
I have no other to compare it to. But I love it and it works for me.If you mean beauty I would only say it needs to be a little shorter.But I have no idea how long it needs to be.
Of course there is a demand for a mini!
I just have to get my standard first. Then my wife will not see the difference when I get a mini.
Yeah I'm kinda getting that idea too.I will have to see because it is more work to make the mini.May not seem like it but it is.
Okay you all have me convinced the standard will now be the NEW STANDARD MINI.No more having to use a ladder to vape a DC.Anyone that has not got theirs yet PM me if you still want the regular one or the new SM.I will need your full name that you used on PP so I can match up the orders.This will take longer until I get my cutter in and I hope it will be here by the weekend.Also I will bore out the drip tip hole just a tad more.
Got mine!! But I think I blew the LED on it already.. Chopper, do the lights run up to 5-6V? It did light up on my provari a few times, then I saw the coil was wrapped to ~2.5 ohms, so I upped to 4.9V and no light.. Still vapes though.

Notice to all I will once again close this thread after midnight tonight and start a new one with the what I will call the DEFCON MINI lol....I will have a link back at the end of the last thread before I close it.I will also be making some changes in it.No more LED Lights its just to time consuming and a hassle.Anyone that has paid for led lights will of course still get them.

I think I prefer to start in that end.. SM first and if it shows not to hold enough juice for me I'll order the bigger.

Yes it can be shortened and I will try it later and post result with picture.

Chopper, I'll stick with my Std Defcon. I'm 6'5" so I don't need any ladders - LOL.
I wouldn't mind having a short cap for my dc. This thing is amazing. I have to run it at 4.2 to get it to vape enough for me. Would the be anyway to make the air hole small for a little stiffer draw? If ur going to make a shorter cap that is.
So you did get it,good.I will try and make the hole smaller if I can find a smaller drill bit.
