I realize these will come with some pre-made SS wicks. Just wondering if anyone has tried, or is thinking of trying these with other wicking materials? I'm reading all about using cotton gauze as a wick and it sounds really interesting. Either way, these look amazing and will be ordering one in the next few weeks. Thanks for making these!

I would only suggest using SS wicks on the DEFCON. I have not taken the adventure into trying to work a Silica wick or cotton gauze wick into the unit. I can give it a shot but with the same disclaimer as when I tested on a bottom feeding unit. If you do not hear from me...................I Blew Up :)

You're not gonna beat the taste of your juice from a SS wick. Simply said, there is no wick taste.

I've heard people complain about SS being a PITA to setup. But, it takes about 4 minutes to do properly and they will last you at least one month. Best part of SS is no wick taste. Just your juice.

Once again I find myself sitting here thinking "are they ready now? That statement leads me to believe their ready. Is that what he means, or is he just toying with me again?"
I'm pretty sure I can find a drip tip or twenty that I can use. So thats a yes vote.:D

DefCon new name is patience lol.....

Now your talking my language! I hope you know this is all in good fun. I'm excited to be in on the ground floor of something big like this. I actually traded for a V2 line 2 days before I met you. So I will have that one long before I get yours. I'm just bringing a bit of comic relief. That and you will never forget your first babies.
NOW get back to work.;)
