Eh it's not that. It's that when the center pin doesn't prodtrude, it pushes the center post T block up. I've tried getting that post out and never had any luck. It's just a bad design. Like I've used it not only on direct to battery mechs, but parallel mech boxes & regulated mod's as well. Anything ~.2Ω or hot builds cause the centerpin's insulator to kinda just melt.Dang, that's a great price! Way less than I paid, though I haven't regretted paying so much for mine.
As for my Sapor not working, I think since it's a SMPL mech clone with no center pin vs. regulated devices with spring loaded 510 connectors is the reason. Just doesn't quite reach on the SMPL clone is all
While the deck insulator may be peek, the insulator that goes in the 510 threading might be, but it can't handle heat. Try pushing your center pin screw up with your thumb or on a flat surface. Then try pushing your center post block back down. There's an audible click that you hear when pushing it back down.
Besides, I ordered an authentic Vector for $19.99, $22.56 or so shipped. From what I've seen physically by building on them and what I've read, they're much higher quality than the Sapor. Aeolus Lite looks nice, but I don't like the anodized look to them. I like the look of the Aeolus v2 pro, with the top cap having a gloss coat or plating with the chimney section looking like better quality as well. But for the price of the Aeolus Lite, the finish is something I'd deal with in only black, silver, or gold. Or a combination of any of those three.
