I think thats the original Iatty wick

After looking back at the Iatty thread, you are right. Last post I noticed on the thread was Imeo found the same exact supplier for the CE2 wick.....which I don't like.

The wick material in the A2 has been getting pretty good reviews.....not sure what it is.

@UA72Riddle - Re wick

Posted by rawveg (United Kingdom) on UKVapers forum

"In separate news the Second Repairable Atomiser Group Buy is now well underway. I've been allowing people to place orders through the site for a couple of weeks now, but was too focussed on getting the first group buy sorted to properly promote it. I just checked the figures this afternoon and the group buy isn't a million miles off!

Remember, in order to satisfy the minimum order quantity requirements we have to order a minimum of 150 metres of 3mm wick and 200 metres of 1mm wick... well, right now both 1mm and 3mm wick orders stand at a whopping 100 METRES EACH!!!! so only a few more orders and we can order more 3mm wick, and a few more orders and we can get more 1mm wick!

Up until now, this group buy has been exclusively for members of UKV and AAEC, but now I'm opening up to anyone. So, if you know someone who wants some, if you hear of anyone asking for any good places to get their wick, refer them to Group Buying

Many many thanks for your continued support!

You may not want to buy from Tim - but if you want to set up a USA group it looks like he has the contacts

There was a German Guy who posted a link to the A2 wick in Raidys all my mods but I cant find it for love nor money lol and Ive really looked, I have some 1mm wick that the Croatian guys use, Ill give it a try and let you know how I get on. Been using the XS-116 in my A2s, likeing it a lot,

Yeah, been hearing a lot of good things about the xs-116....might have to give that a try. Good flavor, vapor, wicking?

What don't you like about the CE2 wick Riddle? Its the most tastefree and best wicker I've found in my particular dungeon....

To me....and of course everyone is different.....it has a funny taste. Not sure how to explain it other than a chemical taste. The first couple off drags are great....but by the end of the tank I can't take it.

While I like the SS. I keep going back to fibre glass. For ease of use.
I'm OCD man, I have 3 of everything that can be used lol.

Riddle....ive tried both wicks and heres MY opinion...
The wicks that comes with the bulli a2t,i hated it SO much i ALMOST sold my bulli....it tasted good for a lil bit, then the wick started to get a lil scorched(even tho it was wicking from the tank properly),so it started to taste burnt.
Then somebody recommended the ato-miser wicks and wires from nhaler, they said they were better...i hated those too,it was similar to the wick that came with the bulli but only finer strands,so now were at strike two with bulli. (btw the reason i hated both wicks was the burnt taste,no matter how well the wick is saturated with juice,it somehow burns the wick, and pretty quickly everything tastes like burnt crap)
So last chance before i sold my bulli was the xc-116 from omega.....I LOVE the stuff,it FINALLY produces the CLEAN tasting vapor i was expecting the first time i tried the bulli using the included wick.
The xc-116 ceramic fibers will NOT burn or scorch with a micro torch,so the heat from the direct contact with the coil wrapped around the wick isnt enough heat to burn the xc-116, which produces a burnt taste.
I now LOVE my bulli, and i just bought the mega tank upgrade,so less time between having to refill the badboy.
If you havent tried xc-116 in your repairable atty, you dont know what your missing....try it,youll LOVE it!!!!!!!!:vapor:

What preparation steps do you take before you wrap a coil? And which one exactly do you use, could ya give me a link to what exactly u buy? I have some that someone kindly sent me, idk where its from. Hit it with the torch till it burned white and I still get a weird acidic taste to it. Would reallyy appreciate some guidance, I really hate dealing with fiberglass and the itching!

so hum i thought the DSU was the clear tubes with the adjustable juice feed and air flow ring at the bottom? are you mixing these somehow?

DSU v6 is the one you are thinking of. This is the DSUv3SS. It's a separate endeavor. I know...gets confusing. This is how Dan is staying busy while waiting on price quotes.

You have to heat it until it goes white hot and keep it there, when it cools down its a lot slimmer and stiffer, and doesnt unravel when you cut it it :)

Did that....heated and it went from red/white to white. Still unraveled a little....but not a complete come apart like before...
