Well If you kept your eyes on Craigs list locally you may find a mini lathe at a very good price. Sometimes people buy them for a couple of projects then lose interest and put them up for sale at a fraction of they are worth and then they are almost always with tooling. I wish I would have kept my original setup but moving cross country... it just didn't seem practical at the time.

Keep an eye on ebay as well. I picked up a craftsman midi for 40 bucks. Looks and works brand new. Granted I can only do small wood projects atm but its good enuf to learn and can add a bed extension.

Been working on putting some SG3s together today....and I don't like the roll pin for the negative. It's a great idea...but missing some thought.....or I'm missing something.

The ID is way too big for the nail, and too small to put a piece of CE2 tube in to hold the nail and keep the spring fro falling though. Problem is, I didn't think about it until after I had pressed them in. Also, no nuts were sent with the kits, so I am going to have to run out and find some more. Hate when things start going like this.

Already built three from the original co-op with no problems....and even though these are machined a little different....should have just stuck with what has worked.....but didn't because I didn't have enough nuts....oh well....live and learn.

You're welcome. I'm glad I could help in a small way.

Oh yeah! I'm guessing the SS probably match the original Provari than the chrome one.
