I have a thought for rolling the mesh, I haven't messed with it but will soon. Could a cigarette roller be used to roll the mesh? I never rolled good when i attempted rollies and never smoked the sticky stuff so i got a roller. In my head it would work, but idonno. Any thoughts?

With a manual cigarette roller it would be dificult to roll it small enough.

One like this might help a bit:

It has been awhile since I used one, but the diameter can go smaller, just avoid the seam, but I'm not sure how going backwards works. For that matter a dollar bill will do it all and provide that added stiffness to your fingers.

I tried it this morn. On my iPad and it played for awhile then stopped then started from the beginning. I guess I'll try it on my desk top. Stopped right before before the interview with Dan!

Yeah you do not need an Ipod or android, just there for convinience. You can browse to the link above and listen to it on your computer. The apple and adroid info is for those not by a computer and want to listen remotely.

Same thing happened to me trying to listen on my android commando. Not near a computer until later tonight, so I will try it again.

Worked strangely on my android too. Ended up downloading the mp3 to my phone. Great interview and the history from brisket to the gen was great. Some just don't get open source, lol.

I think they get it, they just focus on the largest negative aspect, which is that the nature of the beast generally works against wide distribution to the most folks.

Hi everyone i would like to join the Genisis club, I'm a beginner so I have a lot to learn but Dan says on the next run I will only need a screwdriver to put the Genny together so I think I can handle that. I'm looking forward to the DSUv6 and G-Tank-US when they come out.

I had only been vaping 3 months when I ran across the genisis atty. I haven't bought a regular atty since. No more dependence on hit and miss Chinese lack of engineering..... :)

Worked on my desk top which worked out better since the audio sound better on my studio monitors. Great interview and it was some interesting history. I really liked the way you explained why you weren't doing it for the money. Some people just don't get the motivation to help others. Bless you Dan!

Yeah I DL'd it on the PC and copied to the phone, so I could listen while I prepped some pieces for my own 15mm!!!!! Genises (2 of them, not sure of the plural there). Now I'm pretty convinced there wont be a co-op for the smaller size, so I have to take matters into my own hands....

And, we could point to linux and android as examples of open source going quite far to the masses. Sure, android isn't really open source anymore, but it still has some of that charm.

Don't get me wrong asdaq, I'm a proponent of open source type endeavors, but I don't agree with the severe interpretation of non-profit that seems to inhabit some discussions about co-op type projects. While the intellectual property is essentially donated, I don't see any reason why all other costs shouldn't be included.

In the strictest sense, open source covers only the conceptual IP. Any changes and derivations can (and should in most cases) absolutely be charged for...

From the OSI Website:
"Free Redistribution: The license shall not restrict any party from selling or giving away the software as a component of an aggregate software distribution containing programs from several different sources."

Obviously, this applies to software distributions, but Hardware is just recently being treated with open-source status, and these rules should still apply. I've seen no provision in the open-source initiative that allows for an inventor to state, "feel free to use this for your own personal use, but you may not use it for commercial purposes." That's not open source at all... that is attempting to use patent rights without a patent, which is technically a no-no...

I think before we get the Moderators angry, issues like this should be in Rolygate's patent discussions thread, as well.

I just finished listening to Dan's radio program. I was cool. (Thanks for the shout out for naming the DSU Dan).
I had to comment on the caller that seemed to be upset about the money thing. I just thought to myself as he was questioning Dan that there is a guy that just doesn't understand the meaning of the word "Respect". anything for a buck.
But I sure think Dan explained that very well.
