Doesn't brass react chemically with the juice? I seem to recall discussions about brass turning juices green. I'm on my cell, so I can't easily search the forums to be sure.

Fresh off the lathe...the beginnings of two mini SGv3s. Held together by SS roll pins. Will use silver solder to seal the seam with a torch.

I have never had a problem with brass, I have had some problems with fear mongers that say every metal that we use will kill you.
Used these SS from McMaster they have 2-56 threads and I got some hex heads that fit. works pretty good. got some 5/16 and some 1/4 inch and some 2-56 threaded rod to use with these to set them into the holes with some jbweld. looks like they would work well with those push inserts.

Should be next week... I owe a couple people some completed projects, so this has to be on the back burner for a bit, plus I'm following Dan's lead and using Taps and Dies to finish off the threads and they are on order... as soon as they arrive, this will be full steam ahead.

Zen, it's like a Scubagen Mini Hybrid hybrid, looks great. I do like how the overall length is being kept shorter too.
By nixing the connector and the bottom lip of the Scubagen, and integrating the whole thing into one piece it knocks off about 1/2" of length, which makes a bigger difference than one would think.
WOW, just realized the SGV3 and Battery body are all one piece. Super interesting....
Yes, it's a PV with a built in SGV3... sort of... you'll see the difference when it's done.
Just a suggestion when you build the internals. I can't wait to try one of these myself. I am ordering 1 or two tomorrow.

Just figured out my biggest wicking issue on my SGV3. The top of my wick was pushed too low in an effort to keep the height at the top to a minimum. The bend at the spacer where the wick goes into the body was preventing good wicking.All I did was lift the wick a little so it goes strait into the body and wam-O no more burnt taste unless I take a really long drag.
Tried to go here to order some OMG! and of course they are out.

Very Nice. How are you managing the switch and battery goodies in that?
Scubagen is my first Genesis atty and I am having a real problem with coughing. I have dropped my nic from 24mg to 12mg and I use a 70PG/30VG mix and if I take even a medium pull I cough my head off. Could it be the PG or VG that's causing the problem? Do I need to lower the nic to say 6mg or 8mg? Please share your experience with me. I want my Scubagen to work for me.

If there is even the slightest short between the mesh and the body, or the coil and the mesh, these things can give a throat hit that will take your head off... double-check your coil and the make sure the mesh isn't touching the body anyplace, even inside the juice chamber.
