It's IW Captain Jack for Pipe that's giving me issues. It's an awesome strong tobacco with hints of cocoa, but the tobacco is overpowering when it's fresh. The cocoa doesn't really come through till about the one month mark. It's not an ADV, but I vape a tank just about every day when I have a bottle that's ready. I 'd like to shorten the steep time on it so I don't have to keep 50+ml of it made up with another steeping. I'm working on a mix with it and vanilla swirl and cappuccino as well that could be an ADV if I can find a way to steep it faster. I may have to try a heat steep with it.
Just a thought....
You can try with a 5 / 10 ml sample...
Step 1.
Heat steep the Fresh Jack for Pipe mix and when it is cooled down to about 80% i.e., (luke warm)
add about 10% of Jack for Pipe steep seed and
Step 2. leave it overnight in a airtight dark container
OR
Step 3. (skip step 2)
For a little bit better results turn on the microwave for about 10 seconds with nothing inside...
when the microwave finishes 10 seconds and is switched off...put the mixed Jack for Pipe bottle inside it for overnight steeping.
Next day you can try it on a dripper and see if it has matured / steeped to your tastes and
repeat above steps if required.
This seems to work for me with premixed flavors when i am trying to experiment to find new ADV's from my flavor collection.
