No they do not have primer :)
Thanks...that was a quick reply!
and the GENUINE Joye eGo comes with an atomizer. What will I do with the atomizer?
and the atomizer on the GENUINE Joye eGo has a shaped mouth piece. Why don't the cartomizers have a shaped mouthpiece?

Save the atomizer until your a little more knowledgable on vaping. Make yourself a vape Box and keep all that in it.

As for why Joye puts mouthpieces on atty's and not on cartos ... I guess you'd have to ask the Joye company about that. But you almost have to have them on an atty ... for a carto you can put your own on.

Any of the ones shown as being for a 510 on this page:
Drip Tips : VaporJunction, E-Cigarette Supply
should fit on your cartos.

Personally, I like using drip tips on my cartos.

Do you get a bad taste in your mouth if you don't have a drip tip?
And I can't see why they call them drip tips when they are a mouth piece?
I've seen the word drip tip on the forum often and had no idea what a drip tip was till now.

Some people use them to drip their juice down into with out removing it hence the name drip tip. No bad juice taste without it if you don't overfill your carto and your juice tastes good lol The juice you are getting is no nic and all food grade ingredients so I suspect that it will taste good even if you were to get a drop or 2 in your mouth :)

I use drip tips because I like the feel better and it also keeps the heat from the carto from my lips.
They were originally designed to use with attys which have to have drops of juice added often to them.

I use a drip tip to keep the heat from the carto off my lips and I like the feel of it better but I pop it off to refill my carto. You will be OK without a drip tip to start with though. I was vaping for months before I started using them :)
When I use the soft top cartromizer, do I have to take the little plastic soft top end cap off to use it?
And when filling the cartomizers using the Cartomizer Condom Filling Method, do I have to take the little plastic soft top end cap off, to fill it?
I can see why he puts the mouth piece end in the condom in this video, because he is able to see the liquid dripping out the battery end to know it is full.

Well on one of those 5 packs that you got the end cap is hard and glued on so you will not be able to take it off easily. But no, you can leave that end cap on while filling. If you overfill it you will know because it will be hard to draw on or it will make a gurgling noise. If that happens, you just put the battery end of the carto over a napkin and put the mouth end in your mouth. Blow GENTLY through the carto and any extra juice will come out on the napkin :) You would not want to blow too hard because you might blow all of the juice out.

I "think" that tip will only fit the type A atomizers but you could try it. The atomizer description says this so it must be a special size

Note: The 'Type A' Atomizers will only match with the 'Type A' eGo Cartridges / 'Type A' Drip Tips etc:

I would have suggested a drip tip to you but thought that you wanted to just get the minimum to start with. Once you figure out which cartos you like you will need to order more and can get a few drip tips then :)

I'll see if I don't get a bad reaction to the vaping kit I ordered first. I feel confident that I won't get a bad reaction this time with the genuine hardware. Then I will order a heap of stuff, probably off Abe's site.

Hello, Sellaman!

When I first started vaping, I found DonDaBoom's Guide and invaluable resource. I have not referenced it recently and I do not see it stickied in the New Members section (at least not where I can find it).

I did, however, find it here for you: The Wonderful World of Vaping | Vaping Guides and am sharing the link not to discourage your questions but to offer a resource to you in the case that we are not here quick enough to answer them.

But still feel free to ask all you want and need to -- we all here are happy to help and I daresay there aren't many of us here who have forgotten how confusing and overwhelming it was for us in the beginning -- and still is.

ETA: Ah, here it is http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/ecf-library/. In the Library of all places -- imagine that, duh.

That is part of the learning curve. After you vape for awhile you will learn exactly how the taste drops off when it needs to be refilled. When the juice starts tasting bad in the carto is when it is time to throw it away. It tends to build up on the heating coil and gets to a point where it just does not taste good anymore. How long it will last depends on the carto and the juice that you are using. Some flavors vape "cleaner" than others. I use the Dual Coil cartos. The ones that I use fruit flavors in last for weeks. The ones that I use any dark or caramel in last a few days to 1 week. You will get a better feel for it once you start.

BTW- How much does a pack of cigs cost you in your area? I am curious.
