Ok these look pretty nice... I have some questions,
will they work with a carbon wrapped provari...?
What are some pros and cons of the different models?
i cant make up my mind which to order.

There is the flexi sleeve and the open top holster..
Id like to clip it onto my pants, or bag. Not really looking to hang a mod from my neck.

Seems the flexi sleeve pretty much stays on.

will the mini holster also fit a refular size provari?

maybe ill get one of each.

ackkk i need opinions yall!

I don't think they'll work with a wrap without a little work (stretching the leather slightly).

I don't see why the holster wouldn't work for all sizes, but the full size with extension might stick out a little too much & give you some problems.

I would suggest the one with the metal d-ring for you, you can get a clip to attach it to your purse strap & the same for your belt. I don't think the holster would be very purse friendly.

Just my $0.02. I want change.

I keep all of mine in Serenity sleeves. I like the flex-sleeve with the ring. You can clip it or put it on a lanyard. When I go out I put a lanyard on it, but I rarely wear it around my neck. The lanyard is a cord the clips to the sleeve (one comes with your order) and I wrap it around my wrist when I set the ProVari on a table, so I don't accidentally leave it behind.

They are very tight, although they soften up the more you use them, but cannot be used with a wrap. It doesn't matter anyway, since if you keep them in the sleeves all the time, like I do, you only see the area around the button and the LED screen.

Each one is specific to the size of your mod, so the button and LED openings line up. They come in mini, mini with extension cap, full size and full size with extension cap. There is a ring-type thing inside the bottom, so you can push the mod out to change the battery. It would also, theoretically, keep it from sliding out the bottom, but it fits so tightly there is no way that will happen.

Due to the inside ring, the sleeves add roughly an inch to the length of the ProVari, and the leather itself adds thickness. They are heavyweight leather. Stormy has more than I do and has posted pictures, but these are a couple of mine on standard minis:

*Again, the sizes are not interchangeable*

ETA: If he doesn't have the size you want right now, keep checking the site. He has been putting new ones up fairly regularly.

I stand corrected, sort of.

To clarify, each sleeve is designed for a specific sized mod: mini, mini with ext cap, full size and full size with ext cap.

Per Ozwald, the holster design will fit different sizes. Personally, the holster doesn't look like it would offer the same level of protection as the sleeves.

Nope. Each sleeve is designed for a specific sized mod: mini, mini with ext cap, full size and full size with ext cap. I know I already posted this info, but I want to make sure no one gets the wrong size.

The button sits above the top of the holster. The length will not matter at all if you buy a mini holster & put a full size Provari in it.

I was talking about the sleeves. Usually he only makes holsters for Silver Bullets and eVics. I don't know anyone who has a holster. I apologize for the misunderstanding, I shall fix it. Are you a Virgo?

You quoted me specifically talking about the holster dear. :) He makes holsters for Provari's too. I was really considering one last week. He had 2 or 3 of them listed for the mini. My only concern would be getting one made for a non-extended mini & putting an extended full-size in there. There might be too much sticking out where it could fall out, or at the very least be bumped/knocked out a little too easily. Nope, no Virgo's here.

A whole bunch are up right now. Some BEAUTIFUL ones, too!

I'm a Virgo :D He's making provari holsters and universal fit too.

I'd forgotten about that style. The last time I saw holsters for the ProVari was back when he was taking custom orders.

I fixed my post. Sorry.

I agree that it looks like a full size with a cap might be a bit long, unless he's making them in different lengths. I shall stop conversing with you now.

I had to go look as I need another sleeve. There's a picture of the mini with the extension cap in a holster:

I like the sleeve as they cover up more making a wrap not really needed. I leave my sleeve on all the time too.

I bought 2 of these, the first time I saw them, I have them as a back up for the other one I use at work, the provari fits really tight in these. I think if you had a J-wrap on your provari, these would destroy the wrap, some of my sleeves, fit very tight as well, and I think the same thing would happen.

He mentions it on his site too. I would imagine with a little bit of work it could be stretched out a touch, but my guess is you'd have to really, really want to do it to make it worth while. Or just have owned one for a long time & let it stretch naturally.

Like that the sleeves offer protection against scratching. I don't see me keeping one in the holster style all the time.

They do stretch quite a bit. When he lists them they always say either snug, relaxed or loose fitting. I've bought both snug & relaxed. There's quite a difference between the two. Also, some people wrap layers of wax paper around their provari's to stretch them to the desired fit. You could watch for him to list relaxed fit sleeves and try the wax paper trick and it would probably work with the wrap.

Wow! I never realized the "fit" in the description until you just pointed it out. I have several Parish sleeves and just received my first serenity a couple weeks ago and I like it as well! I kept reading all these sleeves being a tight fit and mine is easily removed, hence I just looked it up and mine was a relaxed fit! All makes good sense now....thanks Jet, I'll go listen to jetcity woman now!!
