hi guys, I'll be having my serpent soon. Ordered it last Feb 15 on fastech and it is only today that it arrived in our post office (philippines), so that's another 2 weeks of waiting.

what's your advice for those first time to use this tank? I'm really excited and looking forward on using this tank.

Thank you.

Peruse this thread. There is a lot of good information on building, wicking, leaking etc... Also there are some good videos on YouTube about the serpent. Do your homework on this tank while your waiting and you'll have a better experience when it arrives. Most of all enjoy it. It's the best RTA in its class IMHO.

Anyone come up with a fix for the jumping ohms on the black one? Had it working for like 5 minutes and then it hasn't been right since. For the little I tried, it was quite good.
I just got the serpent also(in black) and the resistance was all over the place, now it won't read anything on none of my mods, just getting no atomizer. I've pulled the 510 pin, cleaned a few times, tried several build. I can't figure it out. The weird thing is my 521 tab was reading it at like 3 or 4 ohms, when it should have been around .6
Any ideas?

im guessing that its a ground issue, meaning the outter ring of the 510, make sure those threads are clean and free of paint, then move on to the positive post on the deck and make sure its not touching anything. if that looks good too break it down and make sure all the insulators are in good shape. more than likely going to be one of those

That's exactly what mine was doing. Tried to clean the 510 and it wasn't dirty, nor was there paint on it. Haven't tried to break it all the way down. Thinking I'll just return it at this point.

Well upon further inspection I noticed this in the 510

The nut behind the insulator is loose. I'm guessing that's my problem. It just rattles around in there when I take the positive pin out.

I put a small screwdriver down the air flow hole from the deck side then put the 510 pin back in and tightened it. But it's still loose. I don't see any way to tighten that nut back up. I'm guessing it is normally glued or something and just came loose. The place I bought it from is going to replace it, which is good news.

It great that you bought it from a seller that will replace it!

Does anyone have a EHPro "Bachelor" and a Serpent? I'm trying to decide between the two. I don't like a restrictive draw at all, but sometimes closing down airflow a bit is nice. Is the Serpent TOO much air? I've heard some say that. I haven't had that problem but I don't like the airflow all the way open on my velocity - I barely open the indirect holes and maybe 1/3 on the main if that's any reference. It looks as if the width on the Bachelor is excellent for TC. I might just get both, they're fairly inexpensive. Ideas?

I have both. I vape the Serpent with a .5 ohm coil, 27 watts full open air flow. I love it. The Bachelor is good too but not as satisfying to me.[/
I cant say for ehpro since i dont own one. The airflow in serpent can be adjusted to very tight draw, tighter than stm, but its certainly cant be compared to velocity.
Well that answers that. If it's STM range, it closes down enough for my liking. :thumb:

I like the serpent for the airflow and the bachelor for ease of filling.

HD
^ This.

I've got both and while the serpent does have more airflow, the bachelor is a bit easier to build, wick and fill. The serpent can be built to have a bit more flavor, but there's been more people having issues with leaking due to the design... although since adding the o-ring at the bottom of the deck, neither of my serpents have fully leaked - just a bit of condensation here and there.

I guess if I could only pick one, I'd go with the bachelor, but I'd miss the snake.
