Mine is now sporting a reducer in the airway just under the coil. It's 3.5 mm id and 5 mm deep. It doesn't really add much restriction but it does one heck of a job increasing air speed directly at the coil. Still real airy but flavor has increased dramatically, I used the same juice and coil initially but have since changed the coil to a single 26 gauge TI.

I'm the same, had the Serpent on order from slowtech but then I found an Aussie vendor with it in stock and it only cost me $5 more.
