I can't quite get good flavor off this tank, lots of vapor no taste. I tried to wick it 5 different times but it doesn't change anything, tried moving the coil up higher, lower. Sucks that there's no juice flow control, I notice if I burp the tank(opening top cap to fill juice) I get much bigger bubbles coming out of the bottom, which I assume is flooding the cotton gives it for flavor for a hit or 2.

I have the SMM, and im having great flavor! I wick mine not too tight and with a little less cotton compared to wicking another rta. Also try to get the cotton where you can just see it below the wick ports and do not let it go down all the way to the bottom. Give it a try and tell me what you think. Good luck [emoji41]

ZxSpaZ, I had the same issues for a while with this tank and found (I believe) my perfect setup. This tank is a little different then most but now I believe the flavor is right up there with any of my favorite tanks.

I used to run my coil pretty close to the deck but recently started moving it up. This is where I found I like it best. The picture isn't the greatest but if you look at the coil against the airflow holes it will give you some perspective.

I run 24ga 316L spaced, four wraps and it comes in at around .24Ω

I started running the cotton a little looser in the coil than I'm used, cut the cotton to the edge of the deck base and comb the tails out a decent amount. I don't re-trim the tails after they are combed I just clean up the combed cotton away and leave the staggered tails. When I load the holes with the cotton it is definitely loose, it almost looks like there is to little cotton, small gaps around the edges. No worries the cotton swells. I use a dental pick building so I stick it under the deck and brush out the cotton a bit. When I'm done the cotton ends up sticking out of the bottom of the holes about 1mm. I've done this the last three times I've rewicked this coil and the flavor is up there with the Engine Nano which I also like a lot!

Hope this helps and you get what your looking for if you give it a try.

I just tried it this way and the flavor is definitely more noticeable, I have to install a new cool so I can raise it up a bit, I also have it closer to the deck. Thanks for the tips much appreciated

If I am being honest, I would have said that from the first post that you are maybe being a bit too generous with the cotton in the wick holes, i had the same problem with GV Avocado. I used to put an allen key down the side of the cotton in the wick hole and it gives it a fighting chance with the vacuum in the tank.
I hope you get it to where you want it ;)
