I did finally find a limitation of the VV Box mod. It will run a 1.5 ohm DCC at the most 4.9 volts. Anything above that it voltage under load is 4.8-4.9v. Still very impressive, honestly I believe what you set is what you get. I may run in to variances of .05 to .1v, but i believe that is due to the sensitivity of the POT. POT barely needs to be moved to adjust .1v.
next run will be to test battery life, but I have some questions about how far to drain, and when to charge, how long to charge.
This runs 2 14900 900mah batteries. I know charged, this will be around or slightly over 8v. How far do i drain the batteries down before charging. Currently, the set is at 6.6v which in theory should be 3.3 per battery. So im guessing i should probably charge when it is down to about 6v? And how long should i charge, my charger has an output of 2v/600mah. Im guessing about 3.5 hours?
Also should I label them battery A and battery B and rotate them in the device?
