I keep reading these threads and I can hardly wait to order me an rba. I just might start practicing building coils now...LOL...

This sounds like me! Ha. I wanted one so badly, but I was a little nervous about getting in over my head. But I took the plunge and found out that it was a piece of cake. Now I can't even believe I ever had doubts. And....I thought it would just be fun....I had no idea they would be SO GOOD!! You are going to be amazed at how great the vape is....and how easy it is to make a decent coil. It'll open up a whole new world. REOs make vaping so easy that there's almost no "fiddling" to it. With the RBAs, now I have new stuff to play with again. Ha. I like that.

Ellen, you will enjoy it! The same thing happened to me after seeing juice junkies tutorial.

I did chose to get a small illuminating magnifier to assist me too. It is especially helpful for checking that the coil isn't touching the posts. It really is quite easy and this is coming from someone with zero patience. I only wish I started RBing A's sooner.

Here's the magnifier that I'm using:

Exactly my sentiments!

I have access to dissecting microscopes at work, but I really like your magnifying light super x. I know I will need something as I have to put my glasses on to read the small print now a days.

Jc it is great to see so many women on this forum using RBAs. Until I came over here I thought RBAs were something mechanically inclined men fiddled with and I didn't think it was something I would be able to do.

Now I want to challenge myself to see how good a coil I can make...LOL... I need to experience the vape with a decent RBA for myself. Do you two think the reomizer would be a good RBA for me to learn on? I was thinking about picking one up from Rob and using the same coil and wick that Hildecat and super x are using.

The Reomizer is a little bit delicate, as my wife found out. Just be careful to not over-tighten it or try to force anything. But, it will make tons of vape with the best of them, and the flavor you get is much better than with a conventional atty or carto. For the flavor alone it might be worth it to spend twice as much as you spent on attys or cartos. The bonus is that over the long run you will spend only a quarter as much.

Not really a wick or coil but I do have a tip for you.

Those battery LED "head lights" you can get most anywhere are really great while re-coiling.
I got used to wearing one all day long when I was remodeling the bathroom. Forgot it was on one day and sat down to make a coil ....Woa let there be light, it was awesome.

So good I went and bought a second one and keep it right at my atomizer station.

I think that is the first dual coil set up that I have seen. How do you like it Blix?

Yeah, that's why I did it, couldn't recall seeing any dual coil setups here. :)
So far I like it a lot, I run the VV right at it's 15 watt limit with it, and it seems that it enhance the flavor, making it a bit smoother. Ideally I should add another air hole I guess, but it works fine like this.

good gravy. I'm on my 6th coil and none of them work at all. lol. My first attempt two weeks ago worked perfect. I'm wondering if the ol reomizer is shot.

I assume you checked the wires to make sure they were in the post holes tight. Are the posts turning at all, like loose? Is the center post on the bottom making contact with the meter? You are not getting a ohm reading on your meter right?

Now that has me puzzled. Still wondering about the center post. I know I have never had a problem with the center post. It is really tight on mine.

While on the meter did you touch the posts and see if any reading popped up? Did you move the coils a little while the meter was on to see if anything happened?

The meter will read when I touch it at times but adjusting coils does nothing. It's the oddest thing.
