I saw the writing on the wall shortly after I discovered the wonderful world of vaping. It was at that point I started learning how to be self sufficient. I didn't want to have to learn how to rebuild my coils or make my own e-liquid but I refused to allow 'the powers that be' to limit my ability to continue down this smoke free road. I searched until I found exactly what worked for me and gradually stocked up on those items.

I have not chased the latest and greatest. I found what worked for me and what I enjoyed and started stocking. I am a simple MTN (mouth through nose) vaporer so don't need any of the newest toppers that have come on the market the past couple of years. I am happy that they came out though because what works for me might not work for others. There truly is something out there for everyone at this point. I fear that won't be the case in the future if this madness isn't stopped.

I don't think it is fear mongering to have a thread like this. It is only prudent to know what is happening and to be prepared for it. Even if the FDA madness is shot down and in the end the vape industry survives what we buy today will not be wasted. It will just have cost us less today than it will when the money hungry folks get their way.

Agreed Mattiem, things are cheap right now, we have no idea how long that will last, so stocking now is a good idea

If I didn't vape I'd be spending vast amounts of money on cigarettes so this is a good way (for me anyways) to justify stocking up.

Yep. I knew a long while back I was going to have to become self sufficient to continue vaping the way I want to. Along the way I developed a bad case of shinyitis with mechs and RBAs. Looks like that has turned out to have been a blessing in disguise.

Can anyone recommend a good RDA for MTL? Only want single coil, or rather that's all I'll use it for. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Been looking around online and it's so overwhelming with so many different kinds.

I am all so new to rebuildables I bought a bunch of different things, I did get 2 corollas I have not tried yet, but they were hard to find drippers.

I am loving the Derringer. Many clones with good ratings under $7 on Fasttech, and tons of replacement parts. Easy to build single coil, great flavor, and the airflow is adjustable all the way down to none, if that's your thing!

Have a Derringer in my Fasttech cart. Have heard that suggested more than once so I'll probably be going with that and getting a couple.

Those little squids are nice.I bought one and modded it for bottom feed,and they are great little rda's,put out very nice flavor because of the small chamber.

It is the only RDA I have actually built a coil for. I like the fact that you don't have to wrap the wire around those tiny screws. I just put the legs through the holes and snugged the knurled screws down finger tight. Worked like a little champ for me.

I'm pretty good to go (says the girl who bought another tank, 15 minutes ago). I should have everything I need. I'll probably get another ltr of nic. But the one thing I have yet to get, are replacement screws. Lots and lots of replacement screws! Does anyone have a good site for screws? After that, I'll just buy what I want, until the FDA or my state, makes it impossible to do so. Luckily, Texas wasn't a part of the MSA, so hopefully it will go easier on us vapers.

I don't see any need to rush to buy screws or o-rings. Those parts should always be available through industrial channels that have nothing to do with vaping.

Even vape-specific repair parts shouldn't be affected by deeming because they are not finished products. That's how I read it anyhow, Anyone have different info?
