Hey..Ikenvape is having a carto clearance. I picked up a bunch for my son a while back...these are priced at the rate of Smoks...very good cartos, imo.

OH! I might need to pick some of those up. I hear they are about the best cartos around and I've been wanting to give them a try,

They are very good Ed...I was skeptical...I mean to me a carto was a carto was a carto. So, I was happy that I was wrong about that. They have a very nice airflow and a clean crisp vape.

There are lots of us that remember "bogegate".
You can have a "bad experience" with any brand/product. It can normally be associated with a production lot.

It wasn't that long ago that I had a bad experience, so it was after the Bogegate thing. It was also from a popular vender so I doubt it was old stock. Who knows, I might try again one day, just not soon.

The ones I want are ALWAYS out of stock... the 510 Mega Fusion Punch! 3.0Ω -- never yet seen those in stock. *sigh* The 3.xΩ XLs are often out of stock at IBT also, but I've found them in-stock a time or two.

Me too. Isaac sent me 50 (yes 50) bad cartos. But he took care of me. Buy with confidence at ikenvape.

Did you sign up for in stock notifications? That's what I have to do. The family loves the nitro line at iken. So I sign everyone up for notifications. They hit me up and I double down on stocking up. Those bad boys fly off the shelves within hours...

I guess that's the problem; I have money very briefly, right at paydays, twice a month -- if they come in stock at other times, I won't have any money to buy them. At paydays, I allocate X amount towards vaping, X amount toward groceries, and pay all the bills that are due -- and after that, no more money till the next payday.

Yeah, I didn't account for retirement income. Still doesn't hurt the wallet to sign up for notifications. If the timing is right you get to enjoy a vaping treat. If not there's always next time.

Just a thought. But hey. You do you.

Retirement???? ROFL!!!! My husband is almost 62... but he'll never retire, because he'll never be able to.

Andria....you need a cookie jar...a secret cookie jar full of change...mad money stash. I did that when I was in college. I looked a couple months later and just from tossing in my spare change I had amassed a whopping three hundred bucks...it was astonishing...

But I rarely ever have any actual money; I use plastic for everything, and I really prefer that, so that the money is in a form I can spend online. :D

My husband gripes about it because he's a coin collector, and never had any coins to look at, so if there's room in the budget, we try to allocate him a bit of cash so he has some actual currency to look at, exchange at the QuickTrip -- he gets a lot of good coins there.

My cookie jar is a CapitalOne360 savings acct, but lately it's been a ghost town in there. :tumble:

It is hard to beat a well performing cartotank. I bought 3 Boge F17's this year (great tank, btw) thinking that this would be my new full
time setup.

But, then I bought a BVC tank shortly thereafter, and then another, and another, another, and another. Now my F17's, as much as I like them, they just sit.

Once primed correctly my BVC's just perform flawlessly. Seems like I always have to fidget with my cartos.

When I was a smoker, I had a change tub. I would never buy a carton of smokes as that would mean I would have 10 packs and since I was going to quit daily, it would mean I accept defeat. So, I'd stop at a convenience store every night and buy a pack, so I'd have change when I got home and into the change tub it went. It would add up pretty quickly. But now that I don't smoke, I don't actually spend money daily and I never have any change to put in that tub. I think I'd rather not have any change at the end of the day!!

The State of Confusion
Well when I was a smoker I smoked GOOD Cigars, so vaping is a trade off, and I don't end up burning up all my money and only have some nice wood boxes to show off!

Now I am healthier, just as broke, have more stuff, and still can't retire...LOL

I am too young anyway (50')

I am like Andria...every two weeks I am the coordinator of "ItTechy' Exchange Day"...

That's where money is exchanged from one party to myself, and exchanged to another party from myself......

Luckily I get to divert some for Vaping...

Yep... of course it used to be $88 twice a month, for smokes. Now, from $50-$75 for vaping means I'm saving either a little or a lot; if it's REALLY REALLY tight on that particular pay period, I can even get by with as little as maybe $20, for whatever essentials are really needed at that time -- juice, cartos, etc. Had none of that flexibility as a smoker; it had to be $88 twice a month, and if the pay period was tight, that just meant we had to buy less food.

I'm working hard on trying to learn to make all my own ejuice; once I can accomplish that, I'll be saving a lot on ejuice, so maybe I can start squirreling some away into my capitalone cookie jar. :)

ItTechy... It's great not turning money into ashes, ain't it! :D
