I have no idea where I'm at
I ran into a site not long ago and somebody was saying that the proper term is not steep, but something else, but for the life of me I can't remember what the heck the term was. So I figured that "infuse" fits, so go with that.

Here's my question:

Should we start saying infuse instead, or not. Vote yes or no.

Post thoughts and/or suggestions too.

Note: As long as we agree what steeping means for us, it really doesn't make any difference, but it is interesting to find out what others think since we are constantly posting it.

Saludos :toast:

I remember reading a thread dedicated to this subject and was just trying to jog Fidel's memory.

It all went in one ear and out the other, to be honest. All I do know is that if my juice either has:

Tobacco
Caramel
English Toffee
or Vanilla

in it, it must sit out of the fridge for a couple of weeks to meld/age/steep/oxidize/mature.

Let's not reinvent a vocabulary when there is one already established and in common use...
