All up in your grill..
Forgive the self taken, crappy cell phone pic. It does not do the detailing justice.

Yes they are addictive. Yes I admit, I enjoy the sensation of receiving them as well.

Is that now covered one a mushroom with sunglasses and a machine gun arm? Like 'em both.
The mushroom that is now gone was about midway and slightly to the right of where the top hat is. You really can't tell it was ever there. Definitely won't be getting any tattoos of guns any time soon.

Care to take Sneaky up on her invitation to share a bit of the inspiration for them?
I got the coverup done to commemorate my wedding. I wasn't unhappy with the evil mushroom guy or anything. But it was done when I was teenager with a sewing needle and some india ink. As I grew older and my arms got bigger it ended up being off center. With the thick jailhouse lines and the placement I couldn't think of a way to add anything to it without it looking really ghetto. So I opted for the coverup. She got a skeletal bride on her back with the words: "Honor and obey." Mine is a skeletal groom with the words "Honor and protect." True love doesn't have to be all sweet and gentle. Sometimes it can be badass and scary. I figured what better way to physically manifest that concept then matching skeletal bride and groom tattoo's?

Got a bunch more, mainly on spots that are tough for me to try to snap with my little phone, some of which I really only have for me, not really too keen on posting. Gotta get someone to snap the one of the water lily that I designed that's on the back of my neck because, heck, visual art's not typically my forte, and my hair is too long for anyone to see it anymore:(. But I LOVE seeing other folks' ink:D. Thank you, Sneaky, for starting up this thread. I sure hope more people will post here. Why are tattoos SOOOO addictive?!? I actually like the way it feels to get them a whole bunch...it's really not pain, just a lot of very interesting buzzing. That sorta dull ache after the fact is less pleasant, but very short-lived. Grrr...they've gotten so darn expensive, though. So, a couple more to come. But please, folks, keep 'em coming:toast:!

Nice.

I've actually been kicking the idea of making an appointment at a studio here...get some ideas kicked around. All the stuff I had done was while in the service...not to keen on any of it now. Anyways, I've had some real cool ideas about mixing some art work up with the artist ideas and seeing how it turns out. Thinking about a shoulder front and back with a partial sleeve on right arm...I'll have to do something on the left then...I think it would feel unbalanced having a massive new tat on one arm and a 18 year old one on the left...

Love that ink bro!
Thanks. I am really happy with it. :)
Yours are lookin' pretty wicked, also.

And that's high praise, Mac. Have you checked out all of Slim's? Grrr...that's it. I'm going down to Venice Beach (the best place in the world for 'em) this month and going back to ramen. Curse you, Sneaky:mad:!
Just saw them. He has some pretty wicked looking ink.

As far as the Ramen. Just remember that relapse is a part of recovery. ;)
