I've pm'd with Jules and she's agree that we can add crafts/supplies swaps/pif trades into this thread.

Same rules apply no money, gift certificates are ok, and puhleaase just try to keep it on topic, I promised I'd look out for her on this one, I don't want any problems, she's been to good to us!

So Girls & Guys start going thru your stuff, whoever can move the most from your house to someone elses wins....ok, not really, but sounds good in theory right?

So, I'm changing my philosophy, it used to be; "The one who dies with the most crafting/sewing stuff wins" I'll get back to you on what I'm changing it to, I'm in knee deep in beads for Sallana right now to think about it.....lol

here is a few more Chris Hedges - Fine Art - Fine Art America - FineArtAmerica , and this has some of my old work that my parents and fiance have that I cant sell originals of.. Prints - ch-drawings

the only one i did on the comp is the sunset cross picture.. i cant use that wacom tablet

Such beautiful artworks! I've always been jealous of realism artists lol I'm still working on it. I love my wacom tablet it's like second nature to me now. Been using one since I was 16. Fantastic stuff and I totally love that koi picture <3

that koi picture i did by soaking white paper in black ink then took a very fine paint brush and drew it with bleach it was a pain to make..

The hardest part i have with the realism is finding the right picture to work off of.. has to be black and white and detailed cant do color good since i am color blind so shading never looks right to me..

i tried the wacom tablet a few times and looking at the screen and trying to get the line where i want it just does not work for me.. that and since i do mainly scratchboards now i want very small lines some of the boards i do have over 500 little lines in a square inch to get the shade or texture to look right to me..

Great work everyone!

Here is some of my stuff. Just got a new computer and I couldn't find pics of my wood carving that I've done. I've dabbled in many different art forms over the years. Oil painting, wood carving, photography, astrophotography, pumpkin carving, and the list goes on.

Here are some of the pumpkins. We have about 19 of them carved using foam pumpkins.

Wow! Totally beautiful.

How did you take those photos? That looks like stuff you see from NASA.

Thanks!

I used a CCD camera attached to my telescope. Then it's a lot of processing through several programs to combine all the different layers (one for each color Red, Green and Blue and a 4th detail layer) Then onto Photoshop to balance color, light and dark values, etc... Takes a lot of time to do one image. Haven't done it in over a year and gonna be selling my gear to pay bills and get firewood to help heat my house this winter. :(
