I notice that sigelei isn't using YiHi boards in the 100 watt plus and the Mini 30W. Anyone know why? Are they just cloning YiHi boards now?

I was under the impression that the 100w plus uses a yihi sx 330. The mini 30w doesn't.
I've been seeing conflicting opinions on whether the 30w mini uses a YiHi SX130 or not. Some say yes. Others, including Sigelei themselves say no.
A simple google shows Sig100+ uses SX330, it shows on many sites. They claimed to use in-house chips, just like sig150, but actually it's SX330.

I did actually Googled the Sigelei Mini 30w and Yihi together and that is where I am seeing conflicting reports all over the place. Some say YiHi and others say Sigelei in house. Some of these are forums and others are actual vendor sites. Maybe it is a joint venture like the Innokin/Evolv deal.

The key would be to take the device apart and see what board the 30's resembles.
What I'm finding is that the vendor sites are listing the Sigelei 100W with the SX330 board and not listing the board for the the Sigelei 100+. It's assumed that it's the SX330, but it seems that Sigelei is inferring that they have "improved" the chip and it was done in house. Why so hard to get a straight answer?
The Sigelei Mini appears to be using the SX130 board, the same as the iPV Mini. The vendors say that the DC-DC mode bypasses the board and works as a mechanical. It doesn't, it works just like the iPV Mini.

I like my iPV Mini except for the Mobile function which has been disabled on the Sigelei Mini 30W. Just wondering if that is all they did or did they clone the board. This makes me wonder about the other newer Sigelei mods. Will we get YiHi boards or clones?
OK, crows may be lining up to my dinner table. I did find one vendor, Origin Vape, that is listing the Sigelei 100W Plus as having the SX330 V3 chip.
As for sigelei coming right out and announce their using YiHi chips that something they have resisted.
But yes they are indeed YiHi even if they have instructed YiHi replace there logo with own. As for any tweeks done by sigelei apart from the logo adjustment I doubt it.

Yeah. Sigelei had never made a board as far as I know. They have always outsourced them and just made the mods themselves.
Take just one battery out. Hold down the fire button. While holding the fire button down insert the second battery.
The screen will first display the "Sigelei" logo, and keep holding until it displays "YH SX330 v1.2".
Btw, I learned this from FT forum and took no credit for it. While it's full of trolls, it also has some really knowledgeable posters. They can look at some pictures and figure a lot of things out.

This works with single battery units too. Just did it with my IPV Mini. Guess it will be the easiest way to tell with the Sigelei Mini 30w and 50w too.
Yup, asked someone to try that on a Facebook group and it displays YiHi SX130 just like my iPV Mini. So tempted to get one now myself since 101Vape has them cheap and a Mini Subtank to go with it. I may have a vape mail addiction, lol.
Yup, I should've never got a job cause when I was broke 3 months ago I was sure all I ever needed was my single KFL+ and my MVP2.
Now its 2 KFLs, 2 KF4s, Magma, a 40w Vamo, and a Sigelei Mini later... Oh and my diy juice 'lab' haha..
So far I've ONLY got the Sigelei with mine but I still got $500 to blow after paying off a suspended license haha.. Now do I want more tanks/mods or do I get guitar toys now??
