from left on, A7, A8, and AGI drip mode.
all sanded to satin/brushed, except the base of the AGI - to have a 2-tone look.
modding the A8 to rid of the tank wasn't the easiest, but now it holds 1ml in its well.

I like your o-ring spacer idea. So I innovated a spacer for myself (don't have spare o-rings). But I do have etlectrical tape

Just got my RSST and it won't screw on ..ARGHHHH!!!! Anyone have this issue on the Zmax V3? my T3's get locked in the well really tight too and don't seem to fire that well on this anyway. The only tank that seems to like this and perform flawlessly that I have is the Protank
Yes had the same issue but its not the v3 its the RSST known issue actually the strange part is they fit fine on some mods but not others.

hi guys, great thread! as I said In my previous post just pre-ordered my first APV and it comes with just the body. I need to get a set of batteries and a charger.
would love to have it at the smaller configuration possible and probably a full telescoped for at home. I was thinking of getting some 18490 as it should be almost the smallest but with a better battery life than the 18350 and 1 18650.
as I said this is my first APV so I have no idea on the types of batteries nor charger what would you recommend me? I guess my zmax will arrive on the next 2 weeks so I have time to get ready for them.
on the other side I have some evods and protank but will like to get something better looking for it (would love to get something with the same diameter as the zmax and little to no gap (thinking of the ego cone for this)
any help will be truly appreciated !

Batteries ... AW IMR ... or ... Efest IMR 18350/490/650 ... can't go wrong with either
I like using the ZMax V3 in it's smallest size "18350 mode" ... BUT ... with a efest 18490/500 flat-top battery
- JuniorNA, pointed out first, that a 18490 battery in the 18350 mode works with no problems.

This is my Zmax taken apart. The inside of the lower tube is thread all the way through, which makes sense to me. The upper portion is one solid piece.

As I understand it (and I could be wrong ) the longer battery cap is for two 18350s as they slightly longer than one 18650. Does that make since to anyone!
could someone post a picture of a zmax flat top with a vapeonly bcc, I would love to see it before i buy one!, I'm in mexico so shipping charges are a thing to consider before buying

I'm sure you're gonna love your new Zmax telescope. Mine is still going strong after nearly 3 months. It's a real workhorse, and what a deal!
I only have a silver one. Might look better with a black one or some other color. The fake-metal-aluminum-whatever-it-is finish on the Vapeonly doesn't really match

I guess I must have the worst luck with Zmax. First one had couple minor issues (mentioned in this thread somewhere) then it finally shorted (lasted me ~3 weeks). Contacted Sigelei (knowing they'll be useless) and they replied saying it probably burnt out due to over usage. I do chain vape esp at night but only lasting 3 weeks is to me a poor quality (for 80 something device) or maybe my bad luck.
Anyways, after all its electronics and things can happen so decided to buy another Zmax V3 over SVD or other mods. Turn it on and screen is all messed up like pixelated sort of where characters are cut off and hard to read (and yes i took off the screen protecter etc). So back it will go..

2x18350 could actually fit on the stock bottom cap however its a pretty tight fit knowing that the pcb is only glued so theres a chance that you might actually dislodge it.
I would suggest you do the simple mod i did i think its on page 17 were i replaced the spring with a flat piece of copper that way you could fit easily 1 18490 with the zmax all screwed up just as you have 1 18350 and 2x18350 without the threads showing yet on the upper part.

i have the sigelei telescopic mod too, right now i have the pro tank on but hoping to get a DID clone or Kayfun soon
