I already have 2 sigelei zmax mini's that came with extensions and I used to only use them in 18350 mode but after reading some comments here, I tried stacking batteries and I love them even more! I have panic attacks thinking of them ever dying. That's one of the reasons I'm tempted to click the buy button.

I wonder if my current ss extensions are compatable with the aluminum zmax mini's?

:)

Yeah stacking turns it into a new device. Night and day in the power category. Breaths new life into it and extends its power capabilities and battery longevity. I still can't believe I'm using my original v3. It's the only mod I have, 1 year no backup needed; this thing just doesn't fail or falter. I never worry about it failing on me.

I wanted more power but I didn't have to buy a new mod just a pair of batteries and now I'm up to 20-24w in voltage mode.

That second photo of the V5 at Movapes shows a big battery icon on the OLED display. That icon only appears with a V5 operating in charger mode at Menu Item #9. So, maybe Movapes has V5s with clear plastic buttons or maybe they are using chopped photos. We have seen many Sigelei vendors showing photos that don't match the actual product being sold because they are out of date or they borrowed the photos from somewhere else. And we have seen a lot of variations in Sigelei button choices.

I agree with fairmana. If you want to know for sure what a vendor is offering a call or email to the vendor is worth the time.

Sigelei V5 offers the accessory charging module (metal) that fits into the 510 connector. It only works with V5, not V3. Sigelei doesn't supply the USB cord. The USB jack on the charger accessory is standard USB 2.0. I use a standard USB/mini USB cord to charge my Samsung Galaxy from the Sigelei.

It appears I was a little late on this one but for this price a deal no matter what.

Yeah the deal at movapes is ridiculous, I'm thinking about getting one; just to have an extra for that price... I hope they don't sell out before I make up my mind.:)

I ordered two V5s. I only hope the flat top ring and lower sleeve can interchange. I have 2 flat tops on their last legs. Would be nice to swap them out. Just don't care for the look of the round tops.

I just bought two V5's to take advantage of this deal. I have a late version V3 that a friend gave me that never worked properly, so I plan to swap the flat-top and telescopic tube with it (I'll probably swap the entire tube when I replace the switch). The other V5 will be a Christmas gift. At the last minute I decided to pick up a black TMax V5. It will be my first "box style" mod. I've been curious about how I would get along with that style mod and at 25 bucks, why the heck not give it a try?

By the way, I called the store and all they have in stock are the slant top V5's (no flat tops). I asked them for an estimate on the shipping time, and the guy I spoke to said that they didn't have any in the store, but that the owner had a bunch of them at his house. He said that until the owner brought them in to the store (a day or so) they wouldn't be able to ship them out. I hope that's truly the case and that it doesn't delay the shipping by very much.

All V5s that I have seen have the screw-on top caps so switching out these parts should be easy. V3s are different. The second generation V3s have threaded top caps like V5 but the earlier first generation V3s do not.

Thanks. It appears The V5s are all gone from Movapes. V3s and minis still up.

I am new to this and my wife has a HANA BOX but I think I would like to have a tube model. I think!

I do not want to spend the money on a Provari 3 or such at this time as I do not know for sure if a tube is really what I want to commit to but at the same time, I do not want to invest money in a piece of junk....but I do want VV/VW...much of what the ZMAX 5 offers.

I know its all subjective and everyone has an opinion so with that said....where is a good reliable decently priced site to purchase this dream tube?

Thanks for any response!

Welcome to the group, Redbellie. Varitube is one of the longest established Sigelei vendors. They were one of the first to sell the V3 in the US. Varitube is not the least expensive but they offer a 90 day warranty. Varitube stocks V2 and V3 but has never stocked V5.

We have quite a few people purchasing V5 from FastTech and eBay.

Desert Vapes and 101 Vape have sold Sigeleis to quite a few people on this thread but they no longer stock Sigeleis.

Thanks for the response yzer...I do like everything I see about the V5 and I think that is what I am going to go with.
I trust most of the sites I've seen on here and don't really think I can go wrong with FT or one of the others I have bookmarked from users on ECF...

Thanks a bunch and I'll be back for some sharing in a short while!!!

Redbellie, I went from egos to Innokin MVPs and VV3s. I wanted a tube with longer battery life than the egos and VV3s. The V3 or V5 is well made and with two caps gives me the flexibility of 3 sizes of batteries. Been using my V5 daily since June.

Yeah...that's where I want to be, at least until I see how it all goes.
I'm not into sub ohming nor do not see ever getting into it....just want something that is reliable with some options to play with.

Thanks for your input!!

I ended up with a 4 bay Nitecore Digicharger from here

Li-Ion Chargers

Not the cheapest but close. Follow them on facebook as they sometimes have one day sales. We pay AZ sales tax but shipping is low and fast.

Don't get cheap batteries or charger. Your house and life are worth a little more. I like AW and yzer uses Efest. I rotate 2 18490s daily and have some 18350s and an 18650 for weekends.

Don't forget that Black Friday sales are coming up. Sometimes retailers can beat FT prices on authentics.
