i get alot of those O.O faces "can i try that? it smells delicious." I work at a sports bar as a cook. i know them as regulars. and tehy go "i dont ahve any diseases or anything" my reply "i got alcohol to disinifect anyways its all good" then everyone passes it around ._. ive converted many people. i have friends in this area that cant find jobs. and will ask if they can get some juice. i have some experience in diy. so i throw somethings together to suit their tastes. they love it every time. only costs me some time and like $3 per 30ml. (amber dropper bottles $1 ea) i never expect anything in return. later on they just give me some cash as a thank you. had a guy give me $30 for one bottle after a month of using it.

Hey OP, didn't I see a couple months ago that you were going to do the DIY thread dive? If you started DIY, start selling it to the mooch at $2 a ml. He'll either stop coming by or he'll pay for your DIY supplies! Freeeeeee Vaping my friend! That's what I'm doing with a couple converts here at work! I converted them and don't mind sharing a tank, not only because I want them to have a good experience (and I feel partly responsible), but because they'll buy the next one.

I have converted two of the smokers here to Vaping. We regularly share juices, but it is an equal trade. Example being about 5 minutes ago. I had got a new order from Mtbaker last week, and he just received his today. I had brought my blue moo in, and he had brought it a candy cane juice. He was interested in mine, and I was interested in his. So, we both let eachother sample them. I filled my EVOD up about half way, and he is going to drip some on breaks. It was basically the same when I smoked. He might bum a few one day, and I would need to bum a few some other day. It was an even trade off.

I don't particularly mind it, because I get something out of it. I don't think I'd mind even if I didn't. If I can help someone quit the smokes, I gladly will.

Awwww that's really nice.

But... I will tell you right now. If somebody lays a finger on my Blue Moo, someone will be pulling back a stump where their hand used to be!!!! ;)

Good mornin everybody!

What a lame co-worker. It's okay to say: "Dude, stop being an azz... time to buy your own already." Just keep it fun.

It's not like it's a price thing. I DIY and it costs nothing. It's just, obtaining juice takes a bit more effort than being able to pick up a pack of smokes at any old gas station/store.

Once in a blue-moon, fine. Making a habit out of it, no ... way.

Never had someone ask me for some spare juice. Although that would be tough on them, since I usually fill my tanks before I leave the house, so all the juice I have at that moment is in them.
I have had a lot of people ask me if they can give it a try, so now I've got in the habit of carrying disinfectant wet wipes and 2-3 plastic covers for the mouth piece.

Fortunately I don't have any friends who bum juice/smokes any longer. But at this stage in the game I would not be sharing my vape juice with people who don't want to be buying their own. it's one thing to share with someone who might be interested in trying that juice &/or new to vaping. But people need to support their own habits. I'm not going to do it.

Flat out tell him no. People who are leeches need to be told so. I knew a guy who would bum cigs while he had a pack in his shirt pocket. People like that think everything they bum tastes better than what they pay for. If you don't want to be that forward about calling him a bum, just get some Dekang on clearance somewhere and only give him that.

I don't mind swapping a few samples with co-worker buddies - but would never supply someone who doesn't bring their own to the table.

If I had to deal with that - I have a black cherry flavour that's absolutely horrible (smells and tastes very medicinal...like Benylin cough syrup). I'd fill his tank with it - guaranteed he wouldn't like it.

I was gonna pitch it in the trash anyways.

LOL, I think I have that same Black Cherry juice! Terrible stuff! MBV?

Bingo! That's my plan. I have this bacon cola juice (don't ask) that just went in my computer bag to go to work tomorrow.
Please update after this takes place. I'd love to hear his reaction. Of course, you're taking the chance he'll love it. Either way, at least it didn't go to waste.

When I smoked, there was always some guy I'd see every day who'd bum smokes. You know, that guy - the one who smoked regularly but never had any cigarettes and asked you for one several times a day.

Well, now that guy has switched to vaping and works with me. Nice guy, but his daily "um... can I score some juice?" is starting to irk me (don't worry, I'll deal with it).

Perhaps it's a sign that vaping has moved past the early adopter phase. Perhaps he's just an a$$hat.

This got me wondering. How do you all feel about sharing the juice with acquaintances? Not your SA. Not your roommate. People who vape everyday but want to rely on your largesse.

Dear Gentle Reader:

Being a nice guy regarding an occasional bum is one thing. Dealing with a bum - period - is something else. If you can't bring yourself to pull a Nancy Reagan here and "Just say no!" then you have to enact Plan B: I have a lot of flavors I enjoy individually. But I'm sure I could mix a few together and come up with a Lemon Square/Menthol/Clove/Grape/Absinthe/Cinnamon Danish that should correct this persons lapse in manners in short order.

I do have a large box of Stuff I Didn't Care For. It'd be a great way to get rid of it...

Really, the only one who "bums" liquid is my mother, and that's because I DIY her stuff. She's quite careful to pay for the supplies, so it's not really bumming.

Cousins like to try what I have, but that's a sometime thing and they do offer to let me vape whatever swill they have. I usually decline. :)

That's an interesting OP Papa. I never really thought about it, but I don't think vaping lends itself very well to "bumming" behavior. I remember the guys who would bum a smoke (and a light) every time you ran into them. Vaping, if you're going to do it successfully requires a little more planning than smoking. I suppose a guy could bum a battery, clearo or carto, and some juice, but if he can plan well enough to have a charged battery and something for juice delivery, why can't he plan to have a supply of juice as well?

I'm liking the crab juice idea. That is the only use I can really fathom for crab juice anyway.
