I have never had a problem with giving out smokes to fellow smokers and last night I went to a coworkers house who I recently got into vaping to show her my gear and how I wrap micro coils and gave her some juices I didn't like all in all I think I handed her two rebuilt Kanger heads with cotton and micro coils and about 100ml of assorted juices I would rarely vape. But that is just the kind of person I am. And I also gave her an iclear 16b head with 4extra coils that I have had sitting around for about 4 months that I don't use.

My wifes boss comes by her desk like 10 times a day to take a vape. She seems to like what she has. Not saying she does not have her own things, but likes what my wife has better. crazy thing is the woman refuses to buy on line. smh. so she gets what she gets at her local b & m and my wife just lets her hit her up all day long. My co workers have their own stuff and we try each others stuff and if we like it we go order our own. lol

Okay - an update.

The offending coworker hit me up for juice at about 10:00 this morning. I said "here you go, let me fill up your tank for ya." Out came the bacon cola, 3 mls filling his tank.

I stood by as he took his first draw.

"Wick's burning.", he says.

"Wow, throat's burning.", he offers 3 seconds later, followed by "Man, I can't feel my tongue."

Four or five puffs later, he says "I gotta go." Heads back inside.

I follow - he's headed straight for the john. I wait 15 seconds and then enter. He's running his hands under water, tongue sticking out.

He tells me that he came in to clean out his tank and got juice on his hands (and pants) in his haste.

"Now my tongue is numb, my hands stink, and my pants are stained. That's some sick a$$ed juice, bro."

I leaned in close and said "beggars... choosers... more where that came from. Maybe get your own juice, bro."

He gives me a ... look as I hear from inside one of the stalls, "He bums your juice, too?"

How flipping rude! That would be the last time I give him any of mine...if I were nice enough to give him any in the first place...which I'm not (lol).

When I smoked, there was always some guy I'd see every day who'd bum smokes. You know, that guy - the one who smoked regularly but never had any cigarettes and asked you for one several times a day.

Well, now that guy has switched to vaping and works with me. Nice guy, but his daily "um... can I score some juice?" is starting to irk me (don't worry, I'll deal with it).

Perhaps it's a sign that vaping has moved past the early adopter phase. Perhaps he's just an a$$hat.

This got me wondering. How do you all feel about sharing the juice with acquaintances? Not your SA. Not your roommate. People who vape everyday but want to rely on your largesse.

It's equivalent to:
"Hey can I bum a smoke? Oooh sorry I only smoke menthol"

I feel better if they just come right out and ask to bum something...What I hate is Dry-Begging, hinting around in hopes you'll feel sorry for them and just offer. Then when you finally do offer they go through the whole, "I couldn't", "I wouldn't feel right about it", etc... Just come right out and ask and I'll respect that a whole lot more than hinting around the bush..

I have faced this exact problem before... I have a box with what I could only classify as "irredeemably unvapable". I always keep at least one half full bottle of something from that in my truck. Instead of getting angry, I'm solving two problems.

I would happily share the first time, especially if it is a really good flavor. Once it got to be a habit I would cut it off. At my local B&M we all share our flavors freely and everyone is happy to drip you up with something delicious. But that is reciprocal. I would not tolerate a bum very long.

My aunt comes by my house a couple times a week to say hi and such.. Every time now that I'm vaping one of the first things out of her mouth is, "Can I taste that?" in reference to the juice I'm vaping at the moment... followed shortly by "oh you gonna give me some of this?" She thinks it's free apparently, even though I've told her I spent a couple hundred dollars getting the beginning setup for my diy stuffs.

She was also the type of person to ask for a cigarette any time she saw a pack.. whether she had her own or not.

Having said that,,,,,not sure how you deal with it gracefully, short of saying "If you need recommendations on where to get this juice you love so much, I'd be happy to give you some"
