Bristow, Ok.
I have perfected a nicostik mod for the 103 and 901... if u need help yeah lemme know

That is wonderful. Anyone willing to teach will be greatly appreciated. We have a lot of people ready to learn. Get your parts and tools list together. Students can pick any of the classes they are interested in taking. You can post your supply list here then start a new thread titled Online class deadmau5 nicostik mod for 103 and 901 or something similar so we can keep this all easy to find. Maybe you can do it like Nicowolf and have just the lessons on one thread then comments on another thread. Just so it will be easy for us students.

The great thing about this is that the lessons will be there for you to take anytime.
Dial-up is very slow internet service that uses your phone lines. We live in the sticks and the phone lines are very old. I connect at 24,000 bps. I asked the phone man when we could get DSL and he said probably never. :(

I can always be available for quick advice. I can't really do full lessons cuz I'm a slow typer and I do most of my foruming at work :D But yeah, I'm here to handle basic questions.
You don't have to type fast. You can use any office program and take your time. then just copy and paste into your post when you have it ready. Then just add your pictures. Anyone can teach something if you can find someone willing to learn. We have several signed up ready to learn.
We are glad to have you. What are you going to teach us?

lol i know what it is just giving you a hard time. i feel your pain, dial up is what i started out on using a gateway 2000 running win 95. before that had a acer with windows 3.1! id say consider getting satellite internet if you can afford it, equipment deposit is like $600 last time i checked.

this is a really good idea i cant wait to get all the parts needed to do this!

I am most definitely interested to be a student!

I just joined the vaping community with my first DSE801, but the batteries I received has broken switches so it cuts off very quickly, forcing me to take constant priming puffs to get it going.

I would like step by step instructions to convert them to manual switch, as my lungs are getting quite tired from all the puffing!

If there already is a tutorial around, PM me with info. I'm managed to find pictures but I don't know exactly what is going on.

I have soldering experience, and plenty of tech experience so it shouldn't be all that hard. :)

We should have a lesson up by the end of the week on making a rechargeable box with CR2 Batteries. This is easy to build and it works awesome.

Can you tell us where to get the rechargeable CR2s?

I can't even find them on DX...

I am at work now so time is limited. I googled Cr2 rechargeable batteries and I came up with several possibilities. If you find a good deal let us know. I will do more checking after work.

The class that I was talking about uses CR2 batteries. If the CR123 batteries are longer they will not work. These will have to fit in a AA battery box (with some help with a rotary tool). I hope everyone can get the batteries and chargers.

2 CR2s require a bit of doing to wedge them into a AA box, but you cannot buy protected cr2s, so the 123s are a better option but you'll need a 4x AA box and a big of effort to get everything wired correctly.

2x 123's will not fit in a magnum either, but again, protected batteries are very important. Also, the only protected 123s i've seen are 3.6v, running two of them at peak charge would have you sitting at 8.2v, which I would imagine could toast an atty pretty quick, but I haven't tried it.

For a box mod, I would actually reccomend running a protected 14500 3.7v 900ma, they're just a hair longer than a AA but will fit if you clip the negative spring, plus you're still getting a huge power increase over stock, and your standard operating voltage will be 4.2-3.4 or so.

So the following would be good to buy?

UltraFire 14500 AA sized 3.6V Li-Ion Rechargeable Battery 900 mAh CR14500 Lithium Ion

Ultrafire wf-139 Lithium Ion battery charger 14500 - 18670

Dealexteme has the batteries but I cannot find a charger for them.

Is there a picture, or a link to a picture, of the mod in question?
