How does your American Spirits Organic extract compare to Big Spirit?
I don't know. I stopped ordering retail NET juices some month ago, as my own home-brewed extracting became more successful. (Basically, my first home-brewed NET---made from Skydancer Native American all-natural cigarettes---was pretty good. All five that have followed have been spectacularly good---AS Organic, Nat Sherman MCD, and three pipe tobacco blends.
As a result, I haven't vaped any of Clay's offerings from N-E-T.com. As you know, enthusiasm about them on the Natural Tobaccos thread is very high---yours is the first post I've read with a direct criticism of Big Spirit.
Having vaped 150 retail NET juices (and DIY juices made from retail NET extracts from MyVapeJuice), I feel confident to say that my home-brewed American Spirit Organic extract is not "dilute tasting." I've been vaping AS Organic at a low mix percentage---9%---because I like the subtlety and delicacy of the flavor.
I just mixed up 3mls of AS Organic using 25% extract (16mg nic, 20/80 PG/VG), just to see how it tastes mixed strong. I microwaved the bottle of DIY juice on high power for 10 seconds to approximate some steeping time. Atty-dripping reveals it to be very rich. It's not nearly as
intense as NETs such as A+ Devil Dog or w2v London, because my extract simply isn't as potent as those. But it is
very flavorful.
The only criticism I have of my AS Organic is that it's a bit simpler and less multi-dimensional than my Nat Sherman MCD. I don't know whether that's the tobacco itself or my extraction techniques.
