Slowtech is horrible so what else?

I'm done dealing with slowtech. If I'm lucky I can get my order in 2 months. The norm seems to be at least a 3 month wait for me. I know they can't control the transit times, but when it takes them over a month to actually drop it at the post office that's a problem.

I looked at the mega thread on focalecig and of course that discussion got derailed after only a few pages. But I think I read lots of people unhappy with their slow speeds as well.

are there any other vendors from china that people prefer these days? Thanks

if you cant wait for the long waits from China, pony up and pay more with American vendors.
Doesn't matter if you pay more or less.. Consequences for both.. get it fast from US vendors, but pay more , pay less and pay by looong shipping times. You out weigh the poison.
But when you find a fast cheap China vendor let me know..

its not FT that is the problem, once it leaves them its all on the shipping company. if it is a back ordered item that keeps getting pushed back in I understand.

The trick to successful fasttech-ing is to never expect items not in stock to ship quickly, or even within the time frame given by FT. If it says "Ships in 5/10 days", don't order if you need it ASAP. It may be stuck at "Ships in 5 days" way more than 5 days. It may never ship. Or it may ship within 3-5 days. You never know.

Stick to in-stock items. If there is stuff you need that is in stock, and stuff you want that is not in stock; split the order.

And try to avoid high expectations around Christmas and especially Chinese New Year. Which both is quite far away. Now is a good time to order items that are in stock.

And if you want quicker shipping: Pay for shipping.

Not defending FT. It is what it is. Just giving a couple of pointers to increase your chance of success

Just seems silly ordering anything if that is the way you feel.............. and then coming here to complain......after ordering and having known better.
No, there is no better China service. They all have the same issue - Free shipping means least expensive way and that takes time.

As to slow getting it out - that happens when you order something out of stock often with a SHIPS in 12 DAYS delay notice on the product page.

There are two things you can learn from this.

Accept being separated from MORE money and buy locally.
Accept Delays and be patient.

Nope. Because in 15 orders now, I have been careful about what I ordered and every order has shipped within a day of any expected delay or sooner.
My last 2 orders, one on time and one 2 days early out have already gone through HKP customs in 36hrs and are awaiting transport. I expect them within the typical 10 day period.
IF I ordered E-liquids or batteries(which I will not) I would expect Delivery in about 30 days - Slowest(low risk) shipping.

You have no clue what you're talking about .. if you don't have the patience to read through the thread (Focalecig), then you can't expect to have an accurate perception of what is, or is not going on.

There are no "lots of people" unhappy about anything in the Focalecig thread. So please don't lie, and go around spreading false information.

Had to edit because I skipped your second half of the post.

My first order from Focal took less than two weeks from order to arrive at my house in Texas. From what I understand that is the norm, alot of times it is faster and sometimes it is slower due to large order volumes. Like the other guys said though, if you don't like the wait then pony up, pay double or more for the same stuff locally.

Also, the first few pages of the FC thread aren't enough to say that they suck. You should really check out the last sections of the thread so you can see that the temperament towards FC is really good. Best customer service and shipping times most of us have ever had from China!

No complains about Focalecig.

Receive my Taifun GT package relatively fast..

Even if i were to ship something and it came rather late, i won't take it out on the vendor but instead on the shipper. If you need it fast then pay more for DHL or something similar, definitely fast. Besides Focalecig customer service(Doris) is one of the best one i've come across so far. Responsive and willing to get the issue resolve for the customer even thou it's not their fault.

I placed 9 orders with FC (Focalecig)
Great service. Sadly they don't have inventory as big as FT.
Every e-mail was answered within 24 hr with full info.
Had to cancel item from the order - was canceled with no questions within 24 hr and money refund for 48 to PP.
Any question about product - respond within 24 hr.
Defective product - refund within 48 hr, or free replacement shipping for defected part.

Daaaaa very unhappy.

Read before you spread crap around. And please do not order anything from them, make them favor.

Instead of basing your ideas on what you "think you read" maybe you should actually read the thread. If you did, you might find the answer to your question. Focalecig has many happy customers. I am one of them. It is unfair to any vendor for you to make assumptions based on nothing and spread misinformation that others might find if they search the company name.

OP: Just last week i was even more upset at fastech than you are now. My zmax V5 order switched from "ships in 3 days", to "restocking" (8 days later!), just like they did with 3 more of my other orders.
So in this sense, i agree. FT should not put "ships in X days" statements that they will hardly ever acomplish. They should stick to "ships in 3 TO 30 days", "Out of stock", "Pre order", or nothing at all.

That being said, like others have told you, the trick to FT is to ONLY order items marked as "in stock" or "ships next day". If you do that youll see your items are dispatched very quickly.

About focalecig, you got it all wrong, that thread is mostly about how people are happy using it. Me included! i have a nemesis on the way from them that was shipped in the stated time.

I've never ordered from FC & I'm a very happy non-customer. Why? I'm glad you asked!

Because if/when I ever decide to place an order, I know enough from those "very unhappy customers" to know approximately how long it'll take to receive my order & who to contact in the event I have an issue with anything in that order.

I've been following the FC thread from the very beginning so I can't imagine what "you think you read" that lead to the conclusion it was full of a bunch of unhappy people.

Complain if one wants but not sure I could afford to do what I do without FastTech. Waits may be long but they sell just about everything that one want to go with vaping. Just order whats in stock and order things on backorder seperately. shipping is same price if one item or 20. CHEERS!

OP. Life is too short to gripe about everything that doesn't meet your expectations, no matter how significant they may seem. While I've never ordered from FC, I've placed several orders from FT and all have arrived at my mailbox.

FC even posts photos of your items, packaged and ready to ship. The photos are clear and you can see that they printed your name and address properly on the shipping label. They also provide tracking information that you can access with a single click to see how the shipment is progressing. Customs on each end of the oceans slows things too.

FT and their low pricing is a win for me.

I order from FastTech a lot--nothing I need right away. But when you can order an iclear30S for $9.84 vs $13+, for me it is worth the wait. Mostly things I have ordered from them arrive in 2 to 3 weeks. Although I understand that during and post-Chinese New Year it was kind of a crazy time and people did have exceptionally long waits.

If you are wanting and needing quickly try looking on ebay. Sometimes you find things there that are less expensive than other online vendors but even if they are the same price, shipping from most of the ebay people is free.

Some of the items I am looking at on the Fasttech site says it ships within 3 business days .... I wonder why some stuff ships the next day, and some stuff they need 3 days to ship out?
