Ok. It's just an eGo-C twist I'm getting for backup, and because it has longer batt life than my iTaste, so good for when i go out and about, and because it was dirt cheap! :D Also they had pouch-type holders on lanyards for $1.07! I could'nt pass that by, everything like that I've seen from US sources was like $10 !! Or more!! But I knew it wouild take a while; it'll be a nice surprise about the middle of April. :thumb:

Thx

Personally, I could care less if the OP is happy or not with FT. His opinion is just that, his. My experience of 10 months' ordering from FT and acquiring an excellent collection of stuff is completely different, obviously.

I have no qualms trading off waiting time for great prices. I've been around long enough to know that if I order something uber-popular, at the same time as 10,000 other people, it's likely to go into restocking...

I also know that if my Customs or the postal services decide to hold up a package for a couple of weeks, they have the authority to do it. Factor that reality into the equation.

The world is a very big place and your choices are myriad.

All very true. If you're ordering stuff that you need RIGHT NOW IF NOT SOONER, then you always do well to order from someone nearer, that's just plain common sense, and pay a bit extra for whatever level of speed you can afford -- I find 2-day priority a reasonable compromise between speed and cost, though there have been times I wished they offered "teleportation", but what the heck, I couldn't afford it even if they did. :D

I thought that site I found, e5cigs, offered some amazing prices on some of the things I've been meaning to get -- a cheap spare battery for just in case -- a lanyard PV pouch -- a knucklehead driptip -- but haven't been able to justify lately at local prices. So to get that great price, I have to order from the other side of the planet -- well duh, it's THE OTHER SIDE OF THE PLANET! Naturally it will take longer to get here than if it was coming from the Carolinas! :D 5 bucks to ship something to the other side of the globe in 2 wks-ish doesn't seem unreasonable to me at all. (I did get an email from them today informing me that they've begun processing my order, which is a good sign, at least they didnt just ignore it and leave it in "pending" phase till they got ready to complete it -- I hate when vendors do that! They also have a dirt-cheap no-name 3ml cartotank and dirt-cheap cartos to put in it that I will probably order later, providing I'm happy with the few things I ordered this time.)

There's a good thread, called "Why YOU Should Not Order from FastTech", and I think it's worth reading for anyone who is thinking of ordering from them.

Does anyone know anything RE: the speed or lack thereof of e5cigs, affiliated with chinabuye? I ordered some stuff from them today -- no, nothing earthshaking; I was aware that if you order from the other side of the planet, it's not going to be here day after tomorrow. Mainly I'm just curious about this particular vendor, because they have excellent prices. Not free shipping, but quite reasonable. How is "singapore post"? That's who the shipper is.

I just placed an order with them (e5cigs) a month ago and it took about 3 weeks. I don't mind that so much as the fact that two of my five ego style batteries were DOA. You get what you pay for I suppose.
