Small Diameter Battery Mod Request

What's the smallest diameter Li-ion battery available?
Is it possible to make a mod with at least 600mah or higher (3.7v) at about the same diameter as a 510, 901 battery? Length unimportant. I believe they use an AAAA equivalent size li-ion bat. 8.3mm dia. The mod needs replaceable, protected and rechargeable batteries.
Smaller dia. than the GG mini. Can it be done?

10440 lithium ion. A little bigger diameter than the 510 but is probably the smallest you can find in that mah range that is universal. If you wanted to go with an enclosed battery that would be chargeable without removing check out Ciscos Ego post. The level of modding ability goes way up if you choose the latter.

Yes!
I saw The Precious. Love the switch idea. Still, too big around for my comfort. Also doesn't come in black...yet.

For vaping in public I'd like something a little more elegant.
After all, I live in Los Angeles! Image is everything here.
It's best not to walk around looking like you're sucking on a piece of plumbing hardware. It's better PR for the whole vaping movement.

Problem is I want something that looks good and functions better than the current mainstream commercial stuff out of China.
The gear must look good. Work good. The state 'o the art is almost there but not quite. The eGo comes the closest with combination of style and functionality but it's functionality doesn't come close to these made in the U.S.A. mods. Even 600mah at 3.7v would be a big improvement if it could be kept to a small diameter and dressed up a little.

Somebody in the U.S. needs to do this before the Chinese beat us to it...again.

Cisco is a former member? (sez the video reviewer I saw)
Safety issues?
It looks exactly like a prototype of what I'm asking for but without the specs it's hard to tell.

OK. Somebody get busy. I've got some cash right here in my pocket...somewhere....

To me it looks like a prototype looking for a home. The BIG problem is how to make it cost effective when it cost more to make (made good looking) in short runs than The Precious.

Eventually somebody will take a true entrepreneur risk and mass produce them...and they will be made in China regardless. It's the way of things.
Oh well....
It the batteries were replaceable I'd pay a few extra bucks for two or three even if made state-side.

Hi bassnut. The battery size is also the name. A 10440 battery is 10 mm dia. x 44 mm length and the ending zero means its a cylinder. So a 18650 is 18mm x 65mm. Hope this helps.

Bassnut... they are going to have some more of the lazers in soon, I can't remember which model but they hall take the same battery I believe and the one they are getting soon is the "black" one so that should brighten your day a little.

Also why is the small presious too big? It's is 12.9mm which is only 2.9mm bigger then the battery you are looking for. Heck, the lazer is going to be almost 2mm bigger then the battery, what is one more millimeter?

The 10440's are rather poor excuses for vaping, and there are no 600mAh ones, about 350mAh tops. For 901, 801 and cartomizers they are OK at best, but for Joye atties a poor choice. Get an eGo, it at least can handle a Joye atty and provide hours of vaping in an attractive, small form factor package.

This is correct. Any dealer that claims their 10440 is good for more than 350-360mAh is flat-out lying. Energy density for currently-available li-ion battery chemistry is pretty much maxed out. You cannot get more power into a given space until someone comes up with a more potent battery technology. If you want more capacity, you have to get a bigger battery.

Nobody has mentioned the VP1 yet, which is hardly thicker than a 801 atty. But honestly, it's not going to last much longer than the much cheaper, much thinner 280mAh mega 510 batteries. The only thing bigger is the 380mAh KR808 mega batteries. You'll need an adapter for 510 attys, but these batteries last a long time and vape at 3.7V, as opposed to 3.2V for 510 batteries and the ego.

Funny you should mention that. I just got 3 in the mail yesterday. With the needlessly long 808 to 510 adapter and a cart this e-cig can double as a walking stick.
I think Goodprophets has some shorter adapters.

I really question that claim that it is smaller in diameter than the precise.. expecially if the measurement we're seeing here is 12.9mm diameter....and the precise is 12mm diameter...last I checked 12mm is smaller than 12.9mm...

I think TW has some shorter adapters.

The adapters are cheaper at madvapes and you won't get hit with an international paypal fee from your bank.
