I'm not sure on what technology the high end mods use, but a 30 amp draw is nothing for a high c rated lipo. The only issues we have run into with them is when the draw is 100's of amps for more then a minute, which rarely happens.

What are these safety concerns?

Controlled overcurrent draw is probably one of the least common failure modes for vaping batteries. Almost all failures are charging failures or unattended external shorts. LiPos add a non-rigid casing and inherently volatile chemistry to the mix.

I would die if they would make an 18500 or 18350 Sony or Samsung with a high rating

I too wish this were possible, but I think the math behind the 350s isn't there. I mean, the higher amp batteries achieve such by lower resistance AKA less stuff between the top and bottom. Seems like the only way one could make a 350 with 20 amp continuous would be to make it like 400mah, which is all of a few puffs on a sum ohm set up....
