Interesting little device. Four screws on the bottom is odd but it is what it is. Not sure if a magnetic modification is ideal with it being on the bottom.

I read through this thread because I have a 25 $ store credit and was going to add a Sub tank to pick one up on the cheap, but they have this thing for 59.99 so I could pick it up for 38.99 shipped. So the question for me is a Sub tank or a smok 50, I don't need either really lol but when has that ever stopped many of us.

For those using this and wanting to use lower amp batts like the Panasonic being this is a 50w rated device I would recommend Samsung 25r, LG 20a, or vtc's.

I don't think a magnetic modification would work with the M50 since the bottom plate acts as the negative contact...it needs to be very secure to keep the battery in, so magnets alone aren't likely to work.

Best bet would be something like a tiny Dzus d-ring or spring flathead fastener, if you could work out the inside mounting method.

Has anyone tried a build lower then .5? I have the bt50 which I assume is basically the same. When researching the device before buying it all the sites said it would fire .2 but I find it doesn't get anywhere near that lowest I seen it fire is just barely under .5 I love my bt50 I just don't understand why they can't push the update for mine through the app and Bluetooth like they did for the BEC pro to go from 36 watts to 50 watts.

Yeah I was thinking that too. Also the Delta 2 is looking interesting and Smok's new tank that is similar to the Kanger tank could be interesting as well.

The Delta 2 does look interesting, but the only review I have seen is from Twisted420. He seems to just fall in love with every new product he reviews so I question his bias. I am also reluctant to believe that joyetech of all companies has jumped up and trumped Aspire and Kanger.

That being said about atomizers, I had a chance to live through a 12 hour shift with my M50/Atlantis combo and came away a very happy consumer. I took my MVP 2.0/Nautilus along in case I ran out of battery power, but in the end it was not necessary.

I can't say enough how nicely the combo of the M50 and Atlantis fits in my hand. I vape from the right hand (drive with the left) and my index finger fits nicely along the top and around the Atlantis with my pinky holding up the bottom. It's a perfect fit.

There are still questions about reliablity (as there are with any new product, especially in this industry), but I couldn't be happier with my purchase so far.

Is anybody else getting a pwer reduced screen with like 40% battery. Mine does that on in higher watts.

I've only experienced that at the B&M where I tried it out initially, but I did see that. Also, the M50 website says it will do that in response to a low battery condition. I am not sure where it kicks in though. Maybe you can educate us?
