I bought the M50 version. It goes to sleep after 15 seconds, and there is a 3 second delay before it fires from sleep mode. And the power reduction is annoying.I put my atomic on it,which is 0.5,set to 30 watts and it automatically reduces to 25 watts.Thats with a brand new LG HE2 battery that was 3/4 full charged.

-Goes to sleep after 15 seconds? Maybe something is wrong with yours. I just timed mine with a stopwatch and it took 65 seconds to enter sleep mode.

-3 seconds delay when firing it from sleep mode? Maybe something is wrong with yours. Mine along with everyone elses only have a .5 second delay.

- I don't know why your M50 is knocking the power down on a .5 coil. Right now as I type this, I am vaping a .4 dual coil at 40 watts. I haven't experienced this reduction in power yet.I'm using a Samsung battery.

I just recieved the M50 model in the mail and was wondering a couple things. Firstly Ive been using the mod mainly with an atlantis tank and samsung 25r batteries. But for some reason even on an 80% charged battery the mod will kick down the wattage constantly, Ive yet to actually be able to fire it at even 40W as it tends to kick down to around 25 even at full charge. Why is it doing this and is there any way to stop it from happening? Ive owned a Hana for over a year now and not once has it kicked my wattage down. Itll fire at the set power level till It finally gives a low batt warning around 10% remaining charge. Another thing is that everyone else ive seen with this mod got an extra rubber fire button but I did not recieve this... Should this be cause for concern?

I am using the same Samsung batteries and I can run an Atlantis at 40 watts all day long without a problem. Has this happened on more than one Atlantis coil?

Right behind you...
Do you have a link by chance?

Sorry, the first (and last time!) I posted a Twisted420 video link I got a nasty-gram from a moderator. His videos are not what you'd call "safe-for-work", I suppose, since he's not sparing with his colorful language.

Just search YouTube for Vapingwithtwisted420

Probably is a defective unit.Bought from a B&M that probably won't return it,so I'm likely stuck with it.Think I'm just going to stick with DNA devices from now on.With the money that I've spent on mods that I'm not happy with,I could come close to buying a vapor flask.

Damn, you might want to find yourself a better B&M to shop at... I'm pretty happy with my m50 (have had it for a week and a half now without issue), but I can also almost guarantee my B&M would switch it out if I had problems.

It seems a better design would have been to have the battery door be hinged on one side with a little sliding latch on the other, but considering other similar devices don't even have replaceable batteries at all, and the charging is so ridiculously fast, the battery change issue hasn't ever come up for me while using it. As easy as the IPV mini's battery change is, I haven't swapped batteries in that either.

If your the type of person who's constantly changing batteries the M50 simply isn't for you, but if you prefer USB charging the battery change issue is basically a non-issue. Different strokes for different folks!

I've said this before, but it's worth repeating. This device is for those folks that prefer to USB charge, but appreciate the ability to replace a non-charging battery instead of just throwing the device away like an MVP or iStick.

I'm perfectly happy with that. My 2500mah battery lasts me all day, but if anyone is not happy with that there are plenty of other devices out there for them.

EDIT: Just wanted to make it clear I agree with you.

Not sure if this will do anything for you, but did you try the reset button?

my bt50 goes to sleep at 15 seconds as well and i have that 3 second delay also. With the bluetooth connected to my phone it has no delay at all, but that 15 second sleep timer is horrible i wonder why ours has it and everyone else doesnt. As far as the wattage step down mine only does it when the battery is getting low, the screen actually says something like "reducing wattage battery low". another thing i noticed is that it was advertised to fire down to .2 ohms but most of the time it will say "check atomizer" but if i keep trying to fire it then it fires once in a while. I actually found a build that works great though its a 8 wrap 26g dual coil .4 @ 50w!

This is the M50 so it's a totally different mod. I wonder if Stephenwhat was actually talking about the BT50 rather than the M50.
