OTD....I just saw this thread and the first thought I had was "Cat Hotel" If I owned a feline I would surely send him/her there!

:)The Wiz!

Good idea Wiz! OTD could make enough to support his snuff habit!

Nope Wiz, it's "Cat House" and if I were to charge for admittance I may hear from the SPD Vice!

Great news!! The Vet said she can send a blood titer off to a lab in Colorado, and if the dog shows immunity, she CAN apply for a waiver with the test results.
The tumor on her hind leg is also NOT cancer. All in all, a fairly expensive, but very positive visit!!! Our old girl is 12, and still beats on her younger sister. The house wouldn't be the same without her.:)

Now i just need to get OTD to come doll up our gazebo so they can have a private lounge!!!;)

DG, how did you make out with that stray?

She is still here and the pack is starting to settle down a bit. I think she is staying unless someone comes lookng for her. I scanned her for a chip and she has one but the chip number is not registered to anyone.

Neither here nor there
My dog's addition is being built as we speak. It's kind of humorous in a way...
He has a whole room, heated, with windows. It opens to a very large area that is Priefert panels on two sides and dogeared cedar on two. It is built around a large tree. He is a yellow Lab, BTW.
I think he's lucky to have this place of his own. Just can't have him in the house while we're not home, and this is better than the garage. He will be getting a little brother or sister soon...

I came home to a pup with a classic "hot spot" on his neck. Fortunately the kennel that I use when I'm out of town is across the parking lot from my vet's office and they walked him over for a checkup and cortisone shot. Fortunately it doesn't seem to be giving him too much trouble. He's on cortisone spray and antibiotics for two weeks. Thank God bulldogs are so lovable, otherwise no one would put up with the vet bills.
