Regarding the comments on the AAPHP petitions to FDA that fell into the "bit bucket"...

Please contact the FDA Division of Dockets Management at 301-827-6860 to inquire
about the status of your comment and let them know that you want yours to be published.

Document numbers are FDA-2010-P-0095 and FDA-2010-P-0093

In the future, do not select "Individual Consumer" as the "Submitter Category". FDA is "protecting the privacy" of individual citizens who leave comments by not publishing them. One category that will work just fine is "Consumer Group - B0003".

You have to love our government. First they want to "protect our health" by banning electronic cigarettes and making it difficult to get Swedish snus so that we can continue to smoke those approved cigarettes. Now they are "protecting our privacy" on a public site where we posted our opposition to how they want to "protect our health". Thank you FDA, FOR NOTHING!

The King of England could have banned going near Boston harbour on the basis that the chances of falling in and drowning were higher than staying at home. That was a health risk and "what about the children".

Elaine, did they explain why they had an option in a drop down menu that they would "protect privacy" for? You'd think they'd issue a warning that those comments wouldn't be published. I guess the FDA reviewed them off line in a separate department that shredded documents. Such cynicism.

Thank you very much for discovering this for us Elaine.

Today the only filings done was many of us who waited to the last day to file our tax returns. Why not, as it is not like we are getting paid interest. Maybe the FDA does need some of our tax money to send us packing and back to smoking analogs, but that is their problem.

Heard that njoy will have a disposable for $9.99 Wow!! Great news sun!!! Close to a pack of analogs now selling for $7.25 in some locations.

In Hawaii, a pack is $8+. I believe California isn't far behind. One of my converts, a Pizza Hut waitress who asked about my PV, was working more than an hour a day to feed her analog habit.

A $10 disposable would be a practical way for smokers to try e-cigs, especially in places where kiosks sell kits to the dim witted for $100 to $200. If this doesn't all go underground, I could see bars selling the disposables.

Away..
I'm the type that hates to waste anything. I picked up 2-3 of many of the already made "cheap" disposeables. Some are analog looking and others are cigar type. I have not found any, so far, that aren't fairly easy to be made reuseable, including rechargeable, with little effort. Even when sold as disposebles, they all have had a rechareable battery in them!
Tutorials are posted with more to come.

Never throw any "bad, broken" PV stuff away! Keep a junk box of any PV, or related item that fails.

Hope and work for the best, try not to expect the worst and be prepared for anything else they throw at us.
We can and WILL survive this one way or another. ;)

Hud--rightfully so that you are confused as this simply is not true. Rather it is a product of ASH's Public Relations that needs to be redressed and countered.

The Appeals Court Sayed Judge Leon's ruling with denied the FDA the right to embarko SE and NJOY products. There is no ruling "Banning indefinitely" the E-cig currently. Can the FDA still use its embargo powers until we have another ruling after oral argument in the fall? Yes. But that is not to say the e-cig is banned here and now.

Again, this misinformation needs to be redressed by a Public Relations Release on our part if it has not already been. I have not seen it, but maybe it already was.

ASH will always twist the facts to read how they like and we must always make sure this misinformation is corrected in the media.

Sun

I would be more than happy to finance the press releases, if you would like me too. If so, PM me please.

Regards

and tahnks for all YOU do.

Steve

Some have stated that SE's Corporate structure has already been changed but this has not been confirmed.

I think SE has effectively split--which could be a nice way of saying that one or more of the executives is opting to go a different direction with a new business model and I think a totally different name.

Steve,

Appreciate the offer. Lets see how it goes as another group may be in the works that is going to put a new slant on "press releases" for us--I thing it would be a good think Steve.
