oh gosh, these are taking me into the realm of "other various devices"... again. (i got a couple Provari's as an "end all" vape, and drip exclusively. (except for these duals now)

my backup is an eGo usb batt... so no chance of running out of battery use time...

but now a "Go Go" ? sheeez
Hi guys,

Just want to toss my hat in here.

I received a single example of the Dual Coil Carto. And have vaped it on and off for about 24 hours.

My initial thoughts, considering I've not been a big fan of these types of filler cartos, is that this is greatly improved from previous experiences. The vapor is good, the taste seems improved, and like other cartos of the filler type it's a warm vape.

So for me it ranks just below the Go-Go carto- which produces very cool vapor.

To sum it up: It's a pretty impressive improvement on an older design. Nicely done.

The unit was used on a 3.7 volt 18650 and a 1000mah eGo battery.

I've been using this as an alternate to a bunch of Boge 2.0s i bought at the same time. I probably hit it at about 1/3 but it has lasted and lasted. over a week for a carto of any sort that is a pretty high mark. I think i paid $2.33. The taste seems a bit "metallic" and at first was too hot. as i have broken it in it seems fine. Been using mainly a 650 mah ego pass through batt. no obvious problems but since it's rated 1.5 i know i am skirting the edge. Just got a reo grand (but no batteries yet) so i will be interested to see how that works. --i know it's a bit contradictory (a carto on a bottom feeder) but i just want an all in one walk out of the house size of a pack of cigs solution. if the reo works with cartos all the better--i have pretty poor success with 510 atomizers as a $ solution. perhaps due to my vaping style and juice selection they don't last all that much longer than cartos, are a pain to clean and to pricey. anyway--the dual coils seem to me to be a worthy addition to the line-up and as long as the price you are paying is +-$2.00 to $2.50 you will get your money's worth--toss and try something else.

You can vape one of these for a very long time without topping off. They give the best flavor when kept wet, but that doesn't mean they won't vape unless kept wet. Also, those using them at high voltages need to keep them wet (that's just a fact of getting in to the 6.0v range and above).

When I left the house this morning, I went out with a full carto on my PV, two full ones in my pocket, and a spare battery. I came home with two nearly dry cartos in my pocket, one still vaping great on my PV, and a dead batt to put on the charger. When I 're-filled' the two empty cartos, I got about 1.4 ml in to each of them. A fresh fill of a brand new one of these is really close to 1.8 ml. So, I can't say you can vape them completely dry but you can use the majority of the juice without topping off.

Sounds reasonable...
Thanks for the info...
Gonna give some a try. Hope I can find the 2ohm variant :)

Yea... it's a proprietary cartomizer system with a 1300mah battery. Vapes well. Not up my alley personally, had some other issues I wasn't happy about in my review.

It does vape really well though. I can see how some people like it.

Not unusual at all...with a jumbo carto you can carry that much more juice :)
Not sure exactly how the REO feeds...and not sure if these Dual Coils are good canidates for this...but I've seen quite a few bottom feeding mods adjusted to keep a Carto wet rather than wet a standard atty.

I really enjoy the dual coil on the Reo - easy to keep it wet and the vape oomph is almost as consistent as a regulated mod throughout the life of the battery. And, I use less juice, I guess, because I don't waste any by over squonking or flooding the atty.

I can't see how these would "get tight" in their draw, as long as that center hole stays open.

I have a couple of juices that make the filler swell. I can only venture a guess as to why. I think it has to do with the alcohol base flavorings, but I'm not certain because I have another juice from the same vendor (different flavor but also an alcohol base... maybe it requires less flavor in the mix and therefore contains less alcohol) that has been in a carto from my first box. I've gone through three and a half boxes of these so far and that one carto keeps going and going and going. But the juice I have that plugs them does so in a really short amount of time. I get about 4 fills before the draw gets noticeably tighter.

Yeah, I think variants of differing juices can kill a carto.
I am running a VG Johnson Creek , Tennessee Cured, fluid and I've run over 140 drops over top of the 75 drop fill in a duallie so far and little to no change. A slight drop in vapor only, so I'm gonna run it until the end. Running at 3.2v on standard 510 batteries (yeah, I know...bad for battery).

Also have run many carto's with Johnson Creeks Dk.Chocolate and it kills a carto in one refill, even thinned down with 30% vodka. I haven't even tried it in a duallie yet since I don't want to waste a good carto.

Fluids matter to carto life...no doubt. Higher voltage doesn't help either if you are cooking the fluid to a goo.

A few drops of Vodka works great for thinning juice. There's also the plus side, it helps keep the coils a tiny bit cleaner.

True, just don't get carried away. Some people are more sensitive to alcohol then others and vaping it does have an effect depending on your tolerance.

General mixing rule is 5% alcohol in VG.
I've mixed it as heavy as 30% to thin a very stubborn fluid I love that is a carto killer by nature (kills a carto in one fill). It worked well enough that i got ~3x the life if I would have vaped it straight up.
Not recommended I know, but sometimes we do what we can.

I was trying to wait on testing my dual coils until I got my fistpack working but caved... Tried one on my ego. Lots of people saying huge vapor, but I'm not getting that.not burning, but just regular vape, like a standard boge. Is it due to the ego being too wimpy or likely a bad carto? I think I'll wait on testing the other 2 I have until my fp is ready ;)
