Jackson Mi? Coz?
Stay outa prison. I go to Napoleon on a regular basis.
Originally from Mi.

Johnson Creek Dk Chocolate (vg), has clogged every carto I've ever tried, and in short order. I'm not willing to sacrifice a duallie to try it yet.

I'm not a law entanglement kinda guy. I just like cheap real estate :)

Im not exactly sure of the science / electronics involved
.

That's OK. That's what you have me for ;) I am sure of the science involved and work with it every day.

Again, my point is this: Raising the ohms of resistance doesn't help do anything but make these work on amp limited devices. Those devices will still never ever ever reach the potential of the device because to achieve that potential, they'll still hit the amp limit. If anyone is looking to get the nice thick, very warm, analog-like vapor these can produce, they aren't quite going to get there with any device that's limited to 2 amps or below, and that doesn't matter how high the manufacturer decides to go with the ohms or how many volts the high ohms allows an amp limited device to feed them. To achieve the same thermal energy, they still have to push the amps. Raising the resistance does not make the PV with the amp limit suddenly not have the same amp limit.

Luckily, these things produce very well at 3.7v because of the increased surface area for vaporization. That means these are still head and shoulders above most other cartos. It's just too bad that those with amp limited PVs can't find out if they like them when they are producing more heat.

Ummm... P=IV, right?

If these devices are amp limited, then you're going to be able to deliver more power at 2A if you can increase the Voltage.

I am pretty darn sure these things are specifically designed for people using 3.7v devices. With exception to the Provari, Precious, or Darwin, 99% of people are either vaping at 3.7, 5, 6, or 7.4 volts specifically because those are the only choices. I would even be willing to guess that most people are probably still vaping at 3.7 volts.

Lower resistance atties/cartos are specifically designed for people vaping at 3.7 volts to allow people to get the 'effect' of higher voltages without having to buy a bigger / more expensive mod.

These things in fact work 'really' well with a simple Evo battery.

In regards to Amps, I find it hard to believe that anyone is using a battery that cant push at least 1.5 amps these days. I suppose if you are using an original 901 or 510 titan, maybe but I would say those people probably arent vaping on dual coil cartos either. These are devices that extend outside the scope of people still using noob/starter kits. I think most people looking for lower resistance atties have a 'decent' mod or at least an Evo battery (which pushes out just under 2 amps).

And Im sorry, I contest the notion that dual coils are the same as a single coil at half the resistance (ie a 3 ohm single coil does NOT equal a 1.5 ohm dual coil). That is the part that I cannot exactly explain the science or math of. I know how dual coils work, I know the math behind them and on paper, a dual coil is the same as a single coil, if they both have the same resistance - ie a 1.5 ohm single coil vs a 1.5 ohm dual coil. They perform differently but how exactly (other than more 'coverage' in the container) I cant give the science or math (logical reasoning) for.

It spreads the heat in dual format. Things tend to not burn easily.
Many here have had issues at running higher than 3.7v because it tends to cook the juice, and considering the ohm rating, there is No Need to run up past that voltage, except to say you have. No benefit is derived from it, cept scorched juice.

I also run on standard 510 batteries and have one running on a 280mAh battery, and another in a 180.
These carto's at the low ohms are hard on that type of battery, no doubt, but it is the size that attracts me. I get quite miffed at being thought of as using a ""NOOB SETUP"" ! since a large majority of us (even after a year +, prefer the size/weight/and non obtrusive appearance) use em religiously.

Actually, I think most people are vaping at 3.2V (i.e., the fat batts like the eGo).

Speaking of the fat batts, are the dual coils a problem for their mosfet? I've read the warnings and yet so many vapers are using the dual coils (and other LR cartos and attys) on fat batts.

Mr. Boom,

I've never had any issues running LR Boge's or the dualies (1.5ohm) on eGo 900mAh batts.

I won an additional five of these from Bruce in a contest.

To amend my prior short remarks:

There are some juices that these things rock on. Others not so much. But I like them a bit more than before since I've got a menthol that rocks on them.

I noticed that as well! I've got a few over here that were absolutely amazing on some of my juices... and then I tried to vape a Cherry Clove mix and just about died. The throat hit was WAY too harsh. My fiance had a good laugh as he watched me sputter through the first few hits, cough, gasp, and mutter sarcastically "Smooooth!".

So if you want a throat hit of epic proportions, try something Clove based in one of these... After the paramedics revive you, let me know your take on this. ;)

OH my! That is crazy/scary! I've gone through A LOT of dualies, and have never seen that! eghads!

On a different note. I have lots of different mods and I am finding that with these dual coil cartos, I am finding myself slapping them on my Ego batt.'s and using that set up more than any other. Also, Dualies are all I use now.

The carto is empty, no juice at all in it. A friend of mine here on ECF also had one like this, but from another vendor. It's not a vendor thing, it's a quality control thing. I'm still using the black one's I have, this is the first one I've found like this...and I hope it's the last...but clears will be all I order from now on. :)

Yeah, but then you'll have clear plastic shavings. At least the metal ones you can see. :)
