i read the first 15 pages or so last night, and if I remember correctly the people who had coils that were *not* colored wires had better vaping experiences compared to the ones that were / or looked like copper.
is this still a problem??

You missed where it also said that it is the same two wires...sometimes they soldered one way, sometimes the other, and there is no difference in actual use...

All made by smoktech still as far as I know. Only performance difference I have noted was between the metal ones and the clear. Metal tasted better for some reason
Do the ego cones fit around these?

Barely, and not with the dual clears. But you can hollow them out (the cones) with a round file. Some are carrying larger cones now. I know hoosier is.
I ordered the type that holds 1.8 mls, in black. Would this be considered regular sized?

If you got the clear ones, might need to grind the small end of the cone down a bit for it to fit.
If you don't have a file or grinding rock, take it out and grind on some concrete then finish off with sand paper

1. Ground them off a bit.

Thanks, stoked to move away from dripping during the day and hopefully the 1.5 ohms hits on the ego as well as everyone says it does.

I assume that the Riva cone is the same size as the eGo one (?). Seems like it would be. I got the (metal) dual coil cartos from Joogler Juice and my Riva cone fits over them just fine... seems to be the same diameter as the stock atomizers.
4 bucks is a buck fifty more than madvapes sells the mega XL dual coil for in both clear and steel... and you can get them as low as $2.02 each if you buy enough. Nhaler doesn't call them that, but they seem to be the same item.
I don't know what madvapes uses for a dropper, but it must be a garden hose. They say the mega-xl holds 30 drops. It holds about 3.3 to 3.5 ml which is darn near a hundred drops from just about any of the drippers in any plastic bottle I have. - I've said it a few times: Drops is no sort of measurement and I wish vendors and vapers would quit using it for anything but their own reference.

I have a RIVA and an eGo. The RIVA fits over the black (and white and steel) duals, but not the clears. The eGo kind of scrapes the sides of the blacks, and has no chance of fitting the clears.
They need a FAQ on the original post!!!

I don't fill with syringe. Don't like having them laying around, makes strangers think I'm a junkie. I condom fill from the bottom, then top it off with drops from the top.
fwiw, Joogler's Blend (tobacco vape) is very good... taste's a little like Ave's Boba's Bounty; a tad sweeter, which is nice imo.
Wow, left field (unless I missed something). Actually I agree that Joogler's Blend is good. It is an RY4 (caramel, vanilla, tobacco). I got some when I ordered dual coils off of Joogler Juice.
But, Joogler is currently out of duals. Another vendor has taken up the slack. Try VaporGod. They have clear dual coil cartos for $8.99 with a free 5ml of juice. I suggest Tropical Punch. Tastes like AVE Sweet Tart, but way cheaper.

I use 18 gauge all the time and they work great. I use the sharp ones but Blunt would work good too, I think, but I have never tried blunt ones because I get mine locally and they don't have blunt ones.
