Can't wait to get mine in the mail, something tells me the provari fanboys will be in here soon
Well from the numbers, there really is amazingly little to complain about the ZMAX V2 set to "RMS" mode.

Even the output consistency between full and near empty battery is very good.

We did not expect that when we had the ZMAX V2 in our hands for the measurements, I must say I am really positively overwhelmed.

Does the V2 still fire for a split second after releasing the button?

Address everyone as sir or Ms. Dieseler, whether here or in real life....

Hoping that issue is fixed as well. If the accuracy is fixed, second over fire fixed, the only knock left on the zmax will be the durability. For a mod under $150.00 (not including the batteries and charger), nothing to complain about. Won't know for another 6 months at least if it can start being called the best Chinese mod to date....

Happy with my V1 but would nice to be able to upgrade it to V2 if when set to RMS it is spot on.

Numbers on the new ZMAX V2 with the RMS feature, anyone ;) ?

Und sie bewegt sich doch! Zmax V2.0 RMS ist da.. » Mountain Prophet

Be surprised - it pretty accurately does what it is supposed to do!

PS:

May want to use Google Translator on it, but then, the most interesting stuff is the watts and volts anyway ;).

SOLD!

Smoktech are on the ball, if they can sort out any reliability issues then the likes of Provari should be pretty nervous right now.
Good to see the non-RMS settings will still please the Asbestos lung crowd - Optimo and Random...

It's whether the after burn issue is fixed that will decide it for me, I may just get a SS Vmax before they dry up instead. I sold mine when I got the chrome Zmax. I like the Ego top, mine didn't have it even though I don't use anything with an Ego skirt. I really don't like the chrome, it looks good but kind of slippery. My name can be added after Optimo and Random

The first batch or rev 2 arrived to Hungary. It has an 8th menu where you can choose the PWM calculation method, or as they call it the fine tune version. This is the setting the device calculates the wattage right. Only the wattage, though there is no effect on the Volt settings, it will still calculate with PWM meaning 3V settings ending up to 4.2-4.4 actual volts.

Are you saying this is different from the versions in Germany?
Looking at the test results I can only describe it as a true "Provari killer" and that's as a Provari owner - it will do everything as well as the Provari and be an accurate variable watt device too.

http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/coop-planning-discussion/342386-stainless-steel-zmax-tuned-display-vrms-wrms.html

Link to a coop in the planning stages for a SS Zmax updated with menu for Vrms and Wrms and I believe its going to have an OLED screen.

They are working with the vendor...they are showing an OLED screen...pretty cool. They will be getting 5 units to test for accuracy and will put it through the paces prior to making an order...If it works as it is supposed to the coop will continue...If not..No Go!

$51.00 each!!!

Read through the thread. It's interesting and could be something that turns out pretty cool.

Before is was L Rider and Young June now it's Smoktech and SIGELEI Technology Co., let the confusion begin

I do really like the oled screen on the SIGELEI Zmax, it's what Smok were originally going to do looking at the boards that were sent for testing.

The finish of the SIGELEI looks like complete pants though...
