Got my SMPL from The Vapor Lair yesterday. Not sure how I feel about it yet. The switch had burrs all over the switch where the vent holes were drilled. The switch wasn't very smooth unless you pressed it in the center. But I really love the design and how clean the mod is.
I'm confused as well. I contacted Epic Design Studios, and they said the mod I got from The Vapor Lair is fake. But aren't they the original dealer of the SMPL mod?

Got mine about a week ago. Absolutely loving this mod. The switch is one of the best I've used.

Yeah, it took a little bit but I got it and it was worth the wait.
I've got a Tamerlan and it is the same exact size but made of titanium so it's a bit lighter. I like the SMPL better though because of that switch. There's no comparison.
How heavy would you say it is? Sorry i know its a strange question but i want to compare it to mine, like heavy in the hand ya know.
So I contacted Epic Design Studio, and they said that the Vapor Lair is selling clones. They've stopped dealing with them at the end of December. Any mods that were received in the plastic tube that said #theSMPLmod is a clone. But I'm pretty sure they were authentic. I have no idea what's going on other than Epic Design Studios and the Vapor Lair seem to be having some drama.
I was gonna say that to you cause i also talked to them cause they posted that on there instagram and facebook page but i didnt wanna worry you. I also got that tube your talking about, but that doesnt mean its a clone, you can tell by the end caps they use. If there flat and clear then its authentic, i cant find the pic they posted but i will keep looking.
This is an authentic tube, notice the end caps, thats how epic design can tell the tube differences.
Ah my tube is much different. Looks like I'll be trying to get a refund from The Vapor Lair.

Whats your tube look like? Just out of curiosity. Cause i know what the clone tube looks like from the pic they posted but i still cant find the damn post.
Yeah thats the clone one they had pictured. Thats messed up that there selling those to people, full price and everything. I wonder just how many people they got over on, and how many people dont know.
I bet most people don't know. They were one of the only dealers who had the original when it came out, so people are just going to assume everything that came from there is legit.
