My atlantis on my SMPL was so awesome. I mean, SO awesome... Until I tightened it a little too much and shorted out a battery. Very scary.
Don't use an atlantis on the SMPL. Or any other hybrid mech mod for that matter. My atlantis posi-pin protrudes but VERY slightly.
So I put my MutationX on the SMPL. Also awesome. Such a tiny setup for the clouds it produces.

Yes, you must be careful with highbred connectors - at least what attys you put on them.
as far as angelcigs goes, they were a little late with the shipping notification email, but not with actually getting the package out (which is fine by me!).
I ordered 2 zeniths and a SMPL last thursday just before 10am CST. I got my shipping notification this morning (monday) and it shows they printed the label friday morning, and USPS received the package saturday afternoon. Its already at my local distribution center, and should be out for delivery today or tomorrow!

Seems to be a nice clone so far. We'll se how the patina goes.
The button is stiff with a short throw, it fires from any position you touch it on.
I washed it off with hot water when I got it. I haven't applied nolox yet, but will in the near future.

My SMPL will be here tomorrow yay! It will be my second copper mod. I like brass but copper is starting to get my attention now lol. I want a brass SMPL as well.
I like the black one personally - I would have gotten black, but angelcigs didn't have it, and the reason I got the smpl was because it was cheap and I was already getting attys from there.

well that sounds about right... I order, then they list what I really wanted... LOL
I was digging the black copper and would have bought that but the store I bought from only had copper left.
I still miss my Atlantis on my smpl.
Maybe a button top battery would make it a possibility? Will have to look and see if there is a 10A button top out there.

Be careful using any button-top batt in an SMPL, clone or authentic. The internal step may not be tall enough to prevent the battery from shorting out if you fire the switch without an atty installed.
Great point. I had thought through the first 10% of that concept without looking at the mod. Thank you! Maybe I should instead focus my time and energy on looking for a non-hybrid mod with a recessed button. Off to the google now.

I was gonna post a link to the black SMPL on angelcigs but they are sold out already You could safely test a button top by sliding it in, all the way up to the top, without an atty, and measuring voltage between the bottom threads and negative terminal of the battery. If you get the battery voltage then that's a dead short and you can't safely use it.
